A bit of a niche item; only worth it for fairly involved weekend mechanics!
This is usually between £50 and £100 depending on where you buy. Around £50 in Amazon. It has been cheaper (£20?).
It gets really good reviews compared with other electric wrenches owing to variable speed.
Far better and quieter option than a cheap compressor and cheap air tools.
For OCCASIONAL use by home mechanics (like me) on stuck nuts, wheel lugs, suspension parts etc, you can't go wrong IMO.

if that happened I can assure you it wasnt the tools fault!!!

That's a cracking deal. Been waiting on one for ages. Thanks championadam!

good price , ordered , thanks op

thanks OP. ordered one as I have been stuck a few times with various bolts and have been using heat to remove them as I dont have a garage to store a compressor and air tools. I didn't realise they do wired ones as I had only seen the battery powered ones that are a few hundred quid.

Thanks, ordered one.

Hmmm..... another tool.....must resist

it will drop further if all cancelled their order

I think the Parkside one is off/on though isn't it?

This one has variable speed/torque depending on trigger squeeze so should be easier to avoid nut stripping.

If only it was battery powered

I don't really know much about these things, but theres also a cordless Bosch Impact Wrench for £25.60 which has just dropped from ~£100 so seems like a good deal

Its temporarily out of stock but still lets you place an order to be delivered when in stock

Nice, just bagged one. Have looked at the cordless ones in the past, but at this price it seems a cheap way to add some brute force to help my arthritic hands get tough nuts on the car moving without risking injury/pain.
Thanks OP.

Good reduction in the Bosch, but will need to add a battery and charger to the cost.

Too cheap to say no !

or the 200 pound gorilla

This was £19.11 yesterday, but the price has been jumping about the past few days. £26.05 seems like a decent price.

Would be nice to have an impact gun without having to get the compressor running...
3 years warranty if you register with Silverline apparently so worth a go.

Max torque 350 Nm - I dont know what that translates to in practice, wish I had this tool to undo the hub nut I had to undo this week, I had to stand on a 600mm breaker bar and Im about 14 stone, but it didnt need all my weight. One of these would feel safer.

Ordered, be rude not to..
Do have to replace the cam belt on the STi and the crank pulley bolt can be a battle with a 6 foot scaffold pole.
Thanks OP.

Very, very tight.

Wheel lugs are usually 100-150.

Crank pulley I did last week was 180, and that was plenty hard.

I dont think this would have done it tbh... would still need to crack it with the bar i reckon

Air gun or cheaper, slip a length of scaffold pipe over the breaker - behold the worlds longest spanner!

Its good when it worked!
i bought this impact wrench a few months ago . worked great used it for suspension mounts and wheel hubs . But it broke last week .amazon gave full refund though . i paid £35

if the threads got damaged undoing then that cant be the fault of the tool, its possible they where cross threaded when they where put on maybe by a tyre shop.

Bosch specs give it a torque rating of 110Nm, just about enough to fit a wheelnut, but useless at removing a fitted one. Could use it to stir tea I suppose.

I think the Bosch is more suited for screwdriving.

This is cheap... You'll regret not getting one when you need it!!
