Silverlit has always made the tiniest of remote control helicopters, and this is probably the smallest of all! Just about the same length as a credit card, the MX1 Extreme is so small that it fits inside its own controller which doubles a handy carry case too!

Despite its tiny size, the MX-1's performance will not disappoint and the extra portability means it can be taken just about anywhere. Weighing just 7 grams, it really is minuscule, but in the toughness stakes it punches well above its weight, with a super tough EPP foam body that will not be dented or damaged by the occasional rough landing, so the MX-1 is perfect for beginners to take their first steps in radio controlled flight. It also has the benefit of being supplied fully assembled and ready to fly right out of the box.

Extremely simple to fly, an auto-stability system also makes the MX-1 even easier to fly in even the smallest of indoor spaces!

I bought one of these a few months ago from Home Bargains for the same price. Tried it out indoors at home to see if it was any good before adding it to the Xmas stocking collection for son. Glad I did.. it is useless! Completely uncontrolable.. flimsy etc etc. I repackaged it and took it back for a refund same day. Last year bought a similar item (a plane) from a model shop.. that too was'nt worth the money... disappointed son. I recommend avoiding this even at £9.99.

Bought to of these for my gadget brothers, £9.99 fun for christmas day if nothing else. H&R added. Thank you

This sounds like sensible advice. If it weighs only 7g, I'm not surprised it's uncontrollable. Not much point have a RC helicopter that will be buffeted by breath! Cold for me

I got this from Amazon last week, same price £9.99.

This takes off fine, you then have two options, crash it into the ceiling or crash it into the floor, in both instances the helicopter is spinning like a dog chasing its tail, despite an hour playing with the L&R Trim buttons which I think are just there for show.

You will regret spending a tenner on this!

Yeah, these small copters are very difficult to control and the rotors break easily. I got a Home Bargains one and had to take it back. Just went round in circles and crashed. After hours of trying I got it to fly properly twice for about 20 seconds. Voted hot because it's a good price, but I wouldn't recommend these things, especially for a child - I think they will very disappointed with how tricky they are to fly.

I did read on a R/C site that because these copters are so tiny it is just not possible to mass produce the rotors etc to the exact specification and tolerances that are required to make every one fly properly. If the rotor is even slightly 'out' they chase their tails and crash.

get a 3 channel one from ebay for a similar price if you really want a small helicopter. Much more control with a 3rd channel.

B&M had the 3 channel coaxial micro helis for around 12.99 a few weeks ago which are far superior in control to these , or save up a bit more and grab a lama or one of it clones from ebay , or spend about 50 and grab a walkera 4#3 which are nice little 4 channel single rotor helis.

I prefer 600 size myself

Voted cold im afraid , although the price maybe low the picooz and their clones are pure rubbish , if you want to waste a tenner send it to me lol my big helis cost a bit to repair.

I bought the insector one from Amazon off the similar deal 2 weeks ago. They are hard to fly, nut after a few hours of practice, you can get it flying for a minute or so at a time and its fairly rewarding, difinately worth it for a tenner.
Also, if you hold it in your hand, angle it forwards and power up the rotor, aim it at a friend, makes a useful weapon, especially useful at night!.

Brain....engageReally didn't think that one through did you, it's an … Brain....engageReally didn't think that one through did you, it's an indoor helicopter, and discounting the fact it weighs 7g so any wind would effect it. It is a Infra-red helicopter it relies on the signal from the controller bouncing of walls to give it good coverage, outside there are no walls to bounce the signal and the infra red light from the sun just confuses it, you need an RF one to use ouside.

Oops, Eyes...Engage

Whose brain is engaged here?.... someone who likes posting smart **** replies clearly.
