Probably not for everyone, but this might appeal to some of those on here with young children or those interested in getting into RC flying. A decent starter plane for a ridiculously low price.

At least £30 cheaper than the nearest competitor that I could find in the UK.

To avoid postage you'd have to buy TWO. I've bough two. I've a problem...

These look awesome, use them to smash those pesky micro helicopters outta the skies!

How can you even compare these two RC planes?

The Silverlit Boeing is 50 cm long comapred to about 20, has a much greater flying range (100 m) compared to 60 m and uses twin ducted engines. The 737 also looks a hell of alot more impressive. That other plane actually looks quite expensive for all you are getting.

nice ....heat and rep added

One of my X-Twin's motors just died on me tonight :-( , fiver for a new pair of motors or just bin it and get this (or an Acrobat..).

I have an x-twin and have this ordered as well. As an all rounder I think the X-twin is better as the battery lasts a lot longer than this one (I don't have the 737 yet but flight time is only around 5 mins). Also you can pick another x-twin up for £14.99 from smyths toystore, if you are near one. You can pick up the acrobat from Maplins for £14.99 as well.

Sconie you sure this will work, the voltage is only 7.4v as opposed to 9.6V??

I got mine for a tenner in Tesco though :-D , so probably not worth fixing. Cheers for the info though.

i picked up 2 of these planes and very happy indeed, however did expect the car charger with this but not available with uk models :-(

where can i pickup a car charger?

direct links to site or maplin etc would be great.

I just got mine from Tescos.
Opened the box and was little concerned about the polysterene material used in its construction.
Doesn't look very strong.

Off to fly it at my local park.............................................................................................

Just as i thought it took off nicely then immediately dived to the right hitting the ground and breaking the wing and tail fin. Im not happy and pretty cheesed off the weather was sunny and a light breeze so no stormy winds and the instructions state the it has a strong build quality.

I feel robbed of what could have been £49.99 I actually paid £20 thinking i'd got a bargain.
