Thanks, I've upgraded to this from Sim City 2013, to take advantage of its extra features, increased gameplay depth and new offline mode!
No Problem im going to try post a new steam deal at least once a week
Heads up this doesnt work on modern computers.
heads up yes it does
lol even works on win8
Mac version too?
Awesome deal. Still a great game. Bought it around a year ago for £4.99 on Steam I think.
Heads up you just got QPR relegated.
Heads up...this is much better than the latest DRM bumfest.

Buy it if you don't have it.

Brilliant.
Will this work on a windows 7 64 bit laptop?
wow, this game is 10 years old now! was thinking it might be 2-3, but 10!?
time flies like an arrow.
bluebottles like....

oh wait thats not how it goes
Sorry but the disk version is available through Game on their 3 for £10 deal making this deal not much cheaper.
Great deal! be sure to get this startup tool. Really helps getting all the settings perfect for your machine (Sim City 4) options are pretty weak in terms of custom resolutions and specific startup options. This helped me getting it running perfectly on my machine.

Simtropolis - Sim City 4 Launcher

For those saying that this doesn't work on doesn't work on modern computers, it runs fine on my macbook (bootcamp, win 7). Although the tool above helped to adjust the resolutions and helped me optimise the game to my setup.

I sold my disc version recently then bought the download version. Much easier to download the updates, and don't have to worry about having the disc in every time to play it (which I had lost for about a year!).

Great find!

Paying 50% more and having to buy two other games at the same time makes that a much better deal!

erm... but IT IS cheaper and you don't have to buy another 2 dodgy games ... so it's still a hot deal or did I miss something?
I'm going to leave this here

Because There are a few tweaks you should be aware of when running this on modern PCs.

How do you define modern? It works on a x64 Windows 8 Intel Core i7 and an AMD X2 6000 running Win7 x64.

If you had a "modern" computer, your modern browser might have auto-corrected the "doesnt" to "doesn't"...

Heads up IT DOES WORK ON MODERN COMPUTERS... working perfectly on my GTX680 i7 rig

add
-CustomResolution:enabled -r1920x1080x32
to your steam's sim city 4 launcher options to set up the preferred resolution (1080p in my example).... and done... all works fine.

Not sure how correcting your erroneous statement is deemed to be an "immature" "attack". Personally I like correct information and you tried to provide this, which is laudable, but failed. So I for one appreciate all the comments saying that actually it does work on modern hardware and recent versions of Windows.
Is this free delivery?

Raises a poignant point.

Not that you'd want too...but try playing the new Sim City 2013 in 10 years time...

....you probably won't be able too thanks to DRM.

It will be the death of the hobby we love.

Down with DRM!
