Gotta love a Sim City game, especially at £2.50 for the complete Sim City 4 edition.

Get SimCity 4 and SimCity™ 4 Rush Hour in one convenient package. Create, grow, and breathe life into your ideal urban environment. Fight disasters both realistic and fantastic. Govern your own virtual metropolis as you see fit with SimCity 4.

In SimCity 4, you don't just build your city, you breathe life into it. Create a megalopolis by weaving together a tapestry of cities ranging from a bedroom community to a high tech urban center or a vacation destination to a farming village. You can create a region of interconnected cities sharing and competing for resources that are linked by a fully integrated transportation network. Use "god-like" powers to create mountain ranges, carve valleys, and lay rivers to construct the most realistic metropolis imaginable. The new simulation engine offers immediate feedback so you can react to the needs of an expanding metropolis. Now individual buildings and their lots provide you with feedback. Use the My Sim features to personalize your Sim and immediately move him or her into any area and watch them experience life around town and get instant feedback on the city's progress. Each decision has a greater impact and gives you the ability to respond more effectively.

Includes SimCity™ 4 Rush Hour: Have the ultimate level of control over your city's transportation network by completely taking charge of roads, rail, air, waterways, and even vehicles. U-Drive It! missions will be presented for you to solve, such as chasing down a bank robber or apprehending a car-jacker. If missions are completed successfully, you will earn reward buildings and other vehicles. As traction is gained by fixing problems and accomplishing missions, your mayor approval rating will soar and Sims will flock to your city. Choose from all-new road types including wide-avenues, suspension bridges, or one-way streets, as well as map out seamless regional networks that whisk Sims from one city to another. Additional options include going global to create a metropolis based on an all-new modern European building set or personalizing new creations by labeling streets, mountains, neighborhoods, and points of interest. Wreak havoc with all-new disasters including a UFO invasion, massive wrecks at railroad crossings, and the occasional car fender bender. There are also all-new tutorials available to help you get started. New gameplay levels are also available so you can create the city of your dreams.

For £2.50 it's going on my digital shelf, HEAT!

Bargin for £2.50 ..bought

Bought, although I'm more of a SC3000 man myself!

I'm pretty sure this was something like £1 on Gamestation a few months ago. Missed it back then but £2.50 is nothing for a good game. Thanks, heat added.

Nice. I enjoy cities XL, which is prettier, but at £2.50 this is worth a shot again, played it years back. Deals on Sims3 and DLC too, but not as good as this.

for 2.50, i gots me it!

Thanks, downloading now

Added to my collection, for memory sake

Can't really knock that; good game to play bored on the train!

i love it when it works but hate it when it crashes and forgot to save

Bought - many thanks!

Does anyone know if this works on Windows 7?
I have the disc version which doesn't install on Windows 7.... Steam version fixes this I presume??

Have a look at the Steam forums forums.steampowered.com/for…937

There are a few people with issues on Win 7 64bit, which seems to be related to multi-core processors...

Very tempted, think the last Sim City I had was 3000. Surprised how old this one is, time for a new version surely.

Hmm then again, runnning Win 7 64bit so mighy pass if there are potential problems, not sure I can be bothered with the pain.

Hot anyways!

Ordered, for €2.50
(but add in currency charge - its about the same lol)

Graphics are very buggy and prone to artefacts and colour problems on Windows 7 x64. You can 'disable visual themes' and run in Win2000 mode, but then graphics performance is awful. Though maybe my GTX 465 isn't powerful enough for this game.

I'm on 7 x64. Just bought I'll report back after its downloaded!

Might be a silly question but I’m a bit computer illiterate, will this work ok on Vista. Just it says 'OS: Windows XP' in the system requirements. Many thanks.

Works perfectly on Windows 7 x64 for me!

Should work fine on Vista too.

Works fine on Vista here

Bought, thanks for sharing.

Can you buy the game via steam and download at a later date?

Yes, once you have a game on steam, you can download it (and re-download it) whenever you want.

I have Win 7 64-bit and I do get graphical problems with this game sometimes when you click on icons and the whole screen looks like its going to crash...they way I have found to get rid of this is to click on the icon again or just zoom in close or out far away and then it seems to work ok.....this game does have problems but u can still play a decent game...its not a patch on the iPad version mind...now thats a game!

excellent game, well worth it and does not show its age much

Excellent game and for £2.50 it'll be added to my already ridiculous steam collection

I actually think I have this somewhere though

It was a whole 9p actually and I managed to snap it up

what about a cheap version for mac :-/

I too got it for 9p, and am running it fine on a multi core i7 with Win7 64 bit.

lost so many days of my life to this game

Was annoyed when I missed this at D2D last month. Even though I was keen, I've never really managed to get into Sim City games before.

Wasn't going to bother after reading about the Windows 7 glitches but it's got to be worth a try at £2.50.

The only "Sim" game I'd buy.

Very good price, though I got mines for 7p

Good price

Bought it, no doubt wont play it for years though because that's how I roll with these god damn cheap steam games.

Hot! Might grab myself although worried about 64-bit W7, since people here are reporting problems

I also seem to remember having resolution problems, but they were fairly easy to fix (Win 7 64bit)

Great Game and a great price. Heat added

I have the same system and it is working smoothly for me so far. for £2.50 it might be worth the gamble.

I have the actual Sim City 4 Deluxe Disc and I have installed it on my Windows 7 64-bit OS and it works like a charm!
