Whereas kids who aren't brought up to be spoiled little bas****s of less well off families will be grateful for getting what they do.

What an obnoxiously snobbish comment!!!
Not everyone can afford to buy their kids a iPhone for chrimbo...

Even I know a micro sd card will sort that out.

Calm down dear. No one is saying you have to buy anyone an iPhone. You can find loads of excellent deals on HUKD for good phones that are better in every way than this Bush. Sometimes cheap just means cheap, not good value.

Watching something like that now, thanks. I want a dirt cheap phone that I don't care if it breaks, but runs apps and allows web access.

Where oh where in my post does it refer even vaguely to an iPhone. I think your reply says a bit more about you than it does me.

Obviously I don't know that then. (_;) I thought most would.

This phone is cheap enough to take the chance I suppose. Not much lost if you need to change again a bit further down the line!

Yeah, 30 squid wouldn't get me much else I suppose?

True, but if you were going to buy a new memory card for this, you could get a 64gb micro SDHC for a few of quid more than a 32gb (largest capacity) standard micro SD card.
Just saying.:)
Just gone OOS for online delivery anyway. Can't be bothered to drive to a store to pick up. The part time hunt goes on.

An extra tenner would get you a 1GB / 4G / 4.5" IPS screen BLU Win JR available in 5 different colours. It depends if you value them specs at £10.

I certainly would.
£29.95 down the drain. that's what this phone is

I think the "iSheep" comment (with your handily prepared graphic) is much closer to trolling than me calling you out on jumping to conclusions.

Nice, how would this compare to the lumia range? Im thinking of getting a phone with windows OS for limited Microsoft Office tasks (spreadsheet updates, minor editing in Word etc,) on-the-move, to save lugging a laptop absolutely everywhere with me. Could you make any suggestions? I would prefer 5"+ screen, max £100. Thanks in advance

I'd agree, definitely worth the extra tenner if you can stretch. The 1gb ram alone should mean it'll get Windows 10 too, which, incidentally, does mean most if not all apps will install to a memory card.

Indeed. Many apps you can't move and many more that won't run properly when on external storage.

If you can get past the name-calling, few people have anything good to say about this. I'd go for a Lumia every time. You can get a Lumia 435 on PAYG upgrade for £29.99 from Carphone Warehouse or go up to a 640 for £79.99. I have the 640 and am very happy with it. See available options here.

A couple of words of explanation:
- Carphone Warehouse (CPW) phones are always unlocked, so you can use it with your existing network
- To get a PAYG upgrade at CPW you need a PAYG SIM that has been used in the last 6 months - the exact terms vary. CPW have all of the main networks except 3. If you don't have a suitable PAYG SIM, the phone will cost you another £10 plus another £10 top-up.

Maybe on Windows Phone 7, my personal experience was only an extreme minority of apps having SD issues on Lumia 535 on Windows Phone 8.1!
In terms of recommendation, the 535 runs fine but screen sensitivity is not the best - the BLU phones from Amazon look most competitive for the sub-£100 mark?
