Good deal. Before christmas i was deciding between this or the MI 8 Lite. Went for the MI 8 Lite, but if if this deal was around then I would've definitely went for this. Reserved one.

Just think, Argos could have been Amazon. They had the catalogue, they have collection points to solve the delivery issues that Amazon still struggles with. But somehow they missed the boat entirely.

Thank you, much appreciated.... I will keep a look out,

Gutted I missed out on the 128GB version for £131 on Amazon posted before Christmas, I hesitated

Very good phone as long as you never have to multitask! Sadly Huawei insist on making a feature out of a bug with no way to switch it off, so I could never recommend it to a serious user who spends a lot of time on their phone. When I first got mine, I rushed out to buy Huawei phones as presents for all the family, but quickly sold them all unused as soon as I realised about the "feature".

What bug you are taking about?
I think the Mi A3 is better isn't it ?

Better battery, USB-C, Android One, Amoled screen (yes 720p, but seems a nice screen) etc... The one thing this Honor 10 Lite has better is it has NFC I guess

Can be found for around the same price on ebay

EDIT...Actually prices seem to have gone up on eBay for the Mi A3, sure you could get one new for about £140 recently, now cheapest is around £155.....still I think it's a good alternative for a few quid more.

I have this phone and it has good hardware but the insanely aggressive ram management really kills multi-tasking.

You can go in to the settings and make it less bad but I have found no way to stop it forcing the reloading of running apps if you try to multi-task.

For instance if I was to pause writing this message and open the recent apps button and go to Gmail and come back to Chrome and this page it would reload the page and all my message would be gone. Even flicking to a different tab in chrome and will result in the current page reloading. It's infuriating and I will never buy Huawei/Honor again because of it.

I have this exact same issue, I've contacted Huawei about it and they said its got to do with the app developer as I see this happened with YouTube and Chrome, if I open a few apps they both get killed, I've set them to manage manually but still happens.I was told to submit feedback via the apps but no sign of improvement.

They're lying I'm afraid. I have everything managed manually and have turned off all app battery optimisation and still have problems. Here's what I've read is the culprit and it's almost impossible to fix it.

EMUI 9+ devices
Huawei is extremely inventive in breaking apps on their devices. In addition to all the non-standard power management measures described below, they introduced a new task killer app build right into EMUI 9 on Android Pie.

It is called PowerGenie and it kills all apps that are not on its whitelist. You cannot add custom apps on their pre-defined whitelist. This means there is no other way to fix proper app functionality on Huawei than uninstalling PowerGenie.

Unfortunately this is a system app and can only be fully uninstalled using ADB (Android Debug Bridge) Source: XDA.

I'm not surprised.

It does ruin the experience of the device and does get annoying especially when you're multi-tasking. That's the only issue I have with Huawei sadly.
Decent spec for the price

They're not.

If they eventually do so, Huawei already have their own OS

Was looking at some of the Xaiomi phones but was worried about delivery times as I go on my travels tomorrow so I didnt risk ordering. This is a perfect deal which i can collect right away. Thank you so much.
The Mi a3 has gone up quite considerably, think I'm gonna wait for the release of the MI a4.

They really do hold their value well

Your link is missing the "i" at the end resulting in a 404 not found page.
Isn't this the regular price?
Seems everywhere does it for this.
