The view 10 from argos for £369.95, better newer phone than this.
Xiaomi for me
I was thinking of getting this through 3 as I want the wifi calling and 4g super voice. Does anyone know if this is set up through firmware (so I have to either flash it or get the phone from 3) or does the carrier update settings pull this sort of thing down to the phone (so I can buy it through here)?
I'll recommend getting the Xiaomi Mi 6 over this. The CPU in the Honor 9 is equivalent to a Snapdragon 820 whereas the Xiaomi Mi 6 has a Snapdragon 835. Also the Mi 6 is cheaper if your willing to buy from China and chose the slowest delivery option to avoid customs.

You wouldn't recommend a phone import from China unless you work for them. I ended up paying £38.00 in customs duty, phone stopped working on 6.1.18 after 10 days of use. I had to post myself and I am still without it as their warehouse is doing analysis. Stop shoving people up the black hole.

I'd also recommend the xiaomi.. And no I don't work for them. Like I've said before, 3 phones in the past 4 years all still working perfectly fine. Had NO import charges on them all.

I don't work for Xiaomi or any other company for this matter. I always buy directly from their legitamate Xiaomi store which is on AliExpress. Pay through PayPal and choose Singapore Post and expect your phone to reach in about 20 days. It's unfortunate to see that your phone is not working but my house is full of Xiaomi gadgets and not one of them have failed to work. Perhaps you've got a fake and also highly likely you chose DHL as your delivery option as they will always charge customs. I hope you get your phone soon and also remember that any device made by any manufacturer are prone to be broken out of the blue. Also I will never shove people up the black hole. That's disgusting.
Problem is that several people work for Chinese retailers on this forum and there is no stopping. That is disgusting. ASK A FUNDAMENTAL QUESTION BEFORE YOU SPEND £100s WITH A CHINESE RETAILERS: IS THERE A WARRANTY? WHATS THE RETURNS PROCEDURE? Hopefully it will save lots of people from being shoved up the black hole.

You should post this as a separate deal if not already done. I've got the View 10 and it's an amazing phone. I paid £360 from Very but they sold out.

I've bought a couple phones from aliexpress with no issues whatsoever.

I don't work for them nor plan to in the future.

FYI - I don't plan on shoving anything up anyone's black hole, but if I do, you'll be the first person to know

O/t but I often wonder where are all the people who use Xiaomi or any other China phone - I have yet to meet any of these kindred spirits , apart from those in my house who have been indoctrinated/converted .

Mrs witch or Mr switch, whatever you are, you haven't answered the question about the warranty.
You will have to climb up the tower, slide around balls to reach the black hole I will let you do that Hope your tongue isn't too ticklish

What about the warranty? People buy these phones because they are cheap, so people know the risks.
There is only a small minority of people commenting that they've had a bad phone.
As for the black hole, I have a long tongue also

You ain't got no option but to move on. You are ignoring my question. What's the warranty with Chinese retailers? Have you ever sent a phone back to China? Move on if you can't answer.

I've moved on, in fact I'm so far away I'm in China itself.

I have answered your question, these phones have no warranty. That's the risk you take, you big pain in the butt.

What's this, bully Mr switch night? Or is it Mrs Witch?

Just move on. be strong my friend.

Also, I'm not pushing people towards these deals, I simply see them and post them (like everybody else on here) this is a deals website, and when I see a deal, I don't not publish it, just incase @maj2509 doesn't like it, I've ordered a mi mix 2 myself, so I've took a big risk for £300.

Personally I prefer the B&M shop than the online specially when paying more than £20.

I bought this at John Lewis on the last £280 offer but returned it due to having issues with the scrolling. I also had the EMUI bluetooth stuttering bug that affected my last Huawei P9. Not voting on this, but I'm avoiding Huawei/Honor phones as I don't think the software is quite ready to compete with the best.
