Very good phone and great price, back in stock

The Huawei P10 Lite is powered by 2.15GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 658 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. The Huawei P10 Lite packs a 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The slim, lightweight P10 Lite features an elegant, curved glass screen with metal edges. It’s designed for a comfortable grip, making it smooth and effortless to check your messages on the go, or snap a spontaneous photo.

2x more light with the new Leica selfie camera. You get cracking self portraits day or night. It even senses when more people get in the photo and automatically switches to wide-angle.

The P10 Lite’s high-performance processor means your phone stays quick and powerful throughout its life. It learns how you use it, meaning your favourite apps for chatting, browsing and gaming are faster to load and use.

As always, Huawei put safety and security at the forefront of their design, technology and vision. And this latest release is no exception. Unlock your phone in a breathtaking 0.3 seconds, using the P10 Lite’s 360 degree fingerprint sensor.

Great phone. I just got the p8 lite 2017 for £129.99 at carphone warehouse. The p10 lite is the same price as Argos, but I would rather buy from Argos so I might get this one to. Heat given
Good price. Typing on one now. However really don't like this phone.
Been this price for a while, was £139 a few weeks ago, outstanding phone for the price tho

That's sad I was thinking of getting this - but not sure now.... I currently have a CUBOT that I love but... Well you know what we are like for gadgets! LOL!

Spill the beans.
Still £139.99 at Carphone warehouse plus £14.99 for a 30 day rolling contract which can be cancelled as soon as you leave the shop with the phone and get your £14.99 back.

Really thinking of getting this although my ZTE Axon 7 has arrived I can't seem to let go of my (huawei) honor 7. The side to side swipe at bottom of screen for one handed control, the cut around any picture on your screen whatever size screenshot plus 3 quick knuckle taps to screen recording are very useful on all huawei phones. As well crystal clear voice calls if you are calling to countries that have phone line issues.

Is that with the £50 topcashback too???
I bought this yesterday at CPW for the same price. It's a really good phone, very fast and the screen is lovely. I recommend it.
Cheaper at cpw, as above 15 quid 1 month rolling SIM that can be cancelled instantyl

Thanks for the heads up.

Even if you end up paying 2 months at £15/month, it's a tenner cheaper than argos.

Hopefully get the £50 topcashback, so worst case it will cost £169.99, best case £104.99.

Topcashback has just come through as £40 pending, so looks like total cost will be £114.99.

I hear the Huawei P8 Lite 2017 has memory management issues causing the phone to freeze even with just one app open. Does this P10 Lite version have the same memory management issues?

Also, if there are memory management issues and the phone is not functioning as expected then should you be entitled to a refund after 3 months of use (it was happening from day one but just had enough now)? I'm being told CPW will attempt to repair it... how can they repair something that is a fault by design? Surely, a refund is warranted and I'm just being fobbed off.Thanks.

This phone has an extra GB of RAM which should help with memory management.
I think the Argos description is wrong? Does it really have a Leica lens? On the plus side this makes for an easy return if you don't like it as it's not as described.

I had similar problems with a Nokia Lumia from virgin. Had to go back to them twice and even after never worked 100%. Their CS claimed that my rights were ONLY that the phone could be repaired at virgin's discretion and nothing else. Tbh, always been puzzled by that as it doesn't apply to other items does it? Put me off virgin too as their CS attitude was pants.

I cancelled straight away on Vodafone and topcash tracked.
I have this phone and not had an issue with it. It is fast, responsive, gets frequent updates, and comes with a 2 year warranty as standard which is a lot better than most manufacturers like motorola who only offer a 1 year warranty.
What's the camera like? That'ss one of the only things I use on my phone, and though my Galaxy S6 is in need of being replaced, the camera still out performs most phones on the market until you get to the high end ranges.
I have the p9 lite and its the best phone I ever had. Waiting for this one to drop closer to £100
I owned this for a short time, great phone but camera not so good, I have however purchased the standard P10 and love it. Great phones overall
It just seems to lag quite often and not be as smooth as I would like, switching between screens and apps etc. That said my last phone was an iPhone 6 so maybe I am expecting to much for this price range.

It is built well, great that you can extend the memory, and screen is sufficiently impressive. Just seems less fluid in its transitions.

Personal preference I guess. But had enough of iPhones for sure, may go for a Samsung 7.
Have this phone, and would 100% recommend, love it.

Congratulations on kicking the expensive iPhone habit!

Would not reccomended Samsung, I've gone through 2 screens on my s7. First had weird vertical banding with faded strips of leds (Was really weird), it took 30 days for a screen replacement. Now my second screen has horrible burn in that's really noticeable when rotating my phone and using sideways. Not acceptable onna high end phone, will definitely be switching to Huawei or Sony next I think.
Steer clear of Huawei phones, if anything goes wrong with it and you have the displeasure of dealing with them they will give you the run around for weeks on end.
My friend has a problem with his Huawei phone corrupting his memory cards and I had a similar issue with my original P8 Lite.

Don't know if we were both just unlucky but if you Google this issue people with Huawei phones seem to be the largest group affected.

Like my P10 lite a lot for the £. Not quite as good overall as the Lenovo P2 that I killed, but even the battery is still OK for me,

The only issue I have is the Huawei EMUI and the Garmin watch I use aren't compatible - won't pair. Its a know issue and apparently both companies are working on a "fix" but .... thought it worth mentioning in case it affects someone. (thankfully the watch also has wifi, but I miss the notifications more than I thought I would).
My mother, best friend and his mother all have a P8 Lite 2017 thanks to my recommendations, and none of them have reported any lag whatsoever. In fact, my mother prefers this to her old iPhone. My best mate and his mother however, have never had a smartphone before.

I recommended the P10 Lite to my sister as she's a power user and she loves it. She's coming from a smashed Galaxy S7 Edge however, and she says that while she massively prefers the Huawei user interface, the camera (in her opinion), isn't a patch on her old S7 Edge. She has said that the P10 Lite 'feels' faster than the S7 Edge.

In my opinion, if you need a phone under £200, you should only consider Huawei for the best bang for buck and overall quality. Don't fancy spending over £130? Get a P8 Lite 2017. Want to go all the way with that extra gig of RAM and slightly better camera? The P10 Lite is for you.

My personal phone is an Honor 8, made by Huawei.

Exactly what I found, got the P10 lite and found it better than my Samsung S7 apart from camera. I liked the Huawei that much I sold the Samsung and purchased the P10 with Leica cameras, far far better than the Samsung crap, end of.
Hey guys, P10 lite or the Honor 6x?

I like the dual camera but don't know how much better or worse it is and I don;t know if 6x is going to get oreo etc.

Thanks,
This or a Moto G5 Plus?

This or a Moto G5 Plus?

This any day. That said, I'm biased.

But this is the far better looking phone. And it will have a better camera overall than the G5 Plus. Not necessarily in terms of lens quality, but Huawei's camera app has sooooo many features and manual modes which simply cannot be found on stock-like Android phones like the G5 range.

I think the 6X has only 3GB of RAM whereas this has 4GB. Not saying 3GB is bad, but the extra gig does help if you're a power user.
