No stock in John Lewis at the same price.
I prefer much more Argos than Currys or Carphone Warehouse where you can get the same phone at the same price.

The 16GB is a bit limiting though.

It really isn't.
Hasnt this phone been £130 at Carphone Warehouse since black friday?
And John Lewis and Currys more recently... All sim free. I honestly feel like people are voting based on the phone rather then the deal.

I bought this phone the other day from carphonewarehouse the other day and I can't believe how good it is. I broke my Samsung S6 and needed a replacement. This phone has blown me away
Had mine for around 12 months now and love it will Deffo be looking at another huawei when it comes to repla
At CPW £104.99 (89.99 phone +£15 one month sim)here
i love mine - the only downer is the camera ... my moto g3 camera was much clearer

Is it locked to the network of the sim card you buy on this deal??? Been looking at this phone for a few days. It's been £130 at a few retailers for a while. CPW deal seems much better

AFAIK they aren't allowed to lock them to the network anymore

crap. this is what i wanted to know.
anyone recommend something with as good camera.. don't really care if spec is lower than this.
Everything seems great apart from physical dimensions - it's over 1cm longer than my S4. I wouldn't want anything bigger, I'd like smaller. I'm hoping to start seeing full-screen phones with smaller device dimensions being produced
Fantastic phone, I find the camera absolutely superb, highly recommend getting this phone

Currently have Moto G4 which has 16GB internal. I'de agree it is limiting, as you only have about 10GB free. Soon use that up if you use a lot of Apps. But if not then it's managable. But you need a mico SD for photos & videos etc.

" I find 16gb a bit limiting for myself" is a statement I could agree with.
"16gb is a bit limiting" is not.

I have a 16gb Moto x Play and manage just fine, but I am not one to need/hoard lots of apps, SD card is a must for music and pictures though.

I have not done it but I think if you cancel as soon as you get the sim then it is just for 30 days as you have to give 30 days notice.
I've purchased, can anyone clarify what needs to be done with the sim, is it a rolling one month contact? 30 days notice? Will need to phone them as soon as you receive the phone to cancel then?

Did you not ask them what contract you were entering when you bought it

I have the P9 Lite, so much the same. Just stick a uSD card in, and most the apps and pics etc automatically go to the SD card if you switch the setting in the options settings section under Memory & Storage. Internat does run out though, but I do have a just over 2GB ever expanding game sat on there that still doesn't use the SD card extended storage*, damned Tapped Out

i would need to root this and use link2sd and/or xinternalsd (an xposed module that's really good!).

Purchased online last night, the sim said one month. It's a one month contract. Just not sure if will roll on, presumably so, as someone else mentioned having to phone to give 30 days notice. Works out cheaper than this deal

Just bought an LG G6 from John Lewis on a price match I got for 369.95. was hoping it might drop a bit more but no. And my 28 days runs out Monday. So went for it.
I'm telling you now don't buy a phone with only 16gb internal memory, my current phone has only 16gb internal and it is already full with only essential apps, no games etc, you need at least 32gb these days.

you are right but again you can install the apps to the SD card and you got around 6gb of empty space on your phone
P.s Got the phone its really amazing value for the money but Canceling 1month Rolling contract is pain in the ar*e...

You cannot install apps on SD card (not all anyways). So you will soon run out of storage. SD card mostly saves photos and videos and some (rare) apps.
Need some help buying between Huawei P8 Lite 2017 from Argos or Moto G5S Smartphone Dual SIM 32GB from John Lewis? Which one?
Just bought this, Moto g3 just became a brick for no reason(not the first, so love affair over)couldn't work out the deal from CPW, but i have just realised i could have used Quidco, is this correct?
Edited by: "vizual14" 21st Dec 2017
Still on offer at this price but the SIM 2 slot being only 2G has put me off.
