Read that the G5 still has the bootloop issue, touch wood mine hasn't so far. Bit expensive for an older model now.
not much different to the g5 to be honest.

I thought it was the g4 with bootloop and g5 was GPS issues
why is this not a deal....corker of a phone for the money.
Had this phone when it first came out, sent out for warranty 3 times in 1 year because of bootloops, it's a great phone but it breaks too often so it's not really worth it. So that translates to warranty every 4 months which is extremely bad. You might get lucky but it's too much hassle. The screen is so-so unless you set it to 60% but on a bright day it's really hard to see the screen. The camera is great but that's about it. This price is a bit much IMHO.

known bootlooping issues, shouldn't be being sold
Lol, I paid less than this with the PayPal promo in 2015!!!

It died last month with no hopes of getting it repaired. Avoid LG like the plague.

Was an incredible phone until it lasted though
Oh lord have you posted this deal just to get cold votes.

Whats a good alternative? Seems like many of the Chinese mobiles have poor cameras. My G2 has a better camera than most.
Good phone till you get the blue screen after aprox 11 months
I have had 2, both bootloop
This was posted 18 months ago for only £20 more. I know because I got one and guess what .... it' froze and never worked again after 15 months....never again

got mine from German Amazon and got a two year warranty. needed it to because of the bootloop issue. LG FIXED it straight away to be fair

had mine since release never had the boot loop issue, however did manage to wipe out half the screen whilst using it in a waterproof case whilst canoeing for a week. got it replaced been fine ever since. I struggle to find a phone with comparable camera, storage expansion slot and replaceable battery.
You would have to be literally nuts to buy this phone at this price. It's two generations old for starters and that is before we go into the reliability issues. I bought my G4 from ebuyer 15 months ago for £269 so it's well overpriced at £249. Mine has been back to LG three times all for camera related issues. It's a great phone when it works but this model is hopelessly unreliable. For the price point of £270 I would look out for the next big Motorola offer (not that they are hyper reliable either).
My g4 replaced this week under warranty. took a week for whole processed. but deal price is high as i bought g4 15 months ago for £230 from vodaphone.
Does seem a bit pricey. Got mine on a Three contract 13 months ago and is due to be sent back in the next few days. Love the phone and had hoped that the bootloop would never happen to me but died on me last week. Hope to get more good use out of it once repaired.
I still have a G2 which is still hanging on in there too - another cracking phone.
