New with 12 months Argos guarantee, lowest I've seen the G6. Older snapdragon but if you're not a heavy user/gamer perfectly acceptable. ip68 protection on the lg g6 and no notch!

Got one of these posted in a deal a few days ago for £135 like new from CEX online. Will not add heat due to this. However it is a good phone.
Had it, bad battery, really laggy software - with barely any added apps on it. Camera was meh, and I'd recommend you avoid this one. Spend a little extra on a V30 or Nokia 8 Sirocco, or there are better choices at the price.

It got Oreo 10 months late, wouldn't count on quick updates either

Valid point considering re-sale value will be low in year, however I wouldn't class CEX grade B as like new
great phone imho, had it for a few years now. I would recommend it.

Have it, excellent battery, responsive software even a year and a bit on. Cameras excellent. Would recommend buying the G6
Not brand-new, no manufacturer seal on mine . Dispatched without bubble-wrap, possible damage in transit. Returned.

Decent enough phone but ip68 is a laugh. Spilt the smallest amount of water on the screen and fast charging has not worked properly since. There's a bug that means you have to return the phone for it to be reset.
Let's be honest LG are a shower of with their phones. G3, G4 suffering with bootloops and I read the other day that the G7 is now bootlooping.
I was a huge fan but after my other halfs G3 bootlooped, then my G4 a month later, I would never go back to LG.
Agree with post above, have this phone ans away to sell/recycle it. Battery rubbish and camera an absolute bombscare.
Don't count on taking the sim / sd card out to often! Took mine out after 9 months and it broke leaving part of the tray inside the slot. LG charged John Lewis 250 quid to fix, blamed me for accidental damage. The piece that broke off inside damaged the motherboard. Thankfully John Lewis agreed with me that design of tray is cheap and nasty. They paid the 250. When the phone arrived back at JL they told me the screen had been put back badly and refunded me the full original price of the phone. All because of a tray that can be had for 2 pound on fleabay.
Otherwise phone was OK bit laggy. Battery not great. Liked the wide angle camera but found the quality was nowhere near as good as my old LG G3.
I've had 3 LG phones and everyone had an issue. The G3 lasted the longest. 18 months till the dreaded boot loop. That was fixed foc by LG then I got shot of it.

I wouldn't pay more than 150 new for the G6. 32gb internal isnt great. So much better out there for this money. IMO of course! 🤪

I had a similar issue and that was just some moisture from the phone being in my pocket and it was damp outside. Ide forgotten about that.

A little extra for a Brand New V30 or Sirocco, in a UK High Steet Store, with a 12 month warranty would be setting you back an extra £150+. Folk going for this phone will be conscious of price = not spending an extra £150. Bad idea.
The Nokia 8 is still available in blue from John Lewis here Nokia 8 at £220. Not sure how that would compare to this?
I had this phone for nearly a year and I didn't have any of the problems stated above. Great camera, great screen, ok battery life. I would recommend it!

Bit shocking to see so-called 'good' retailers engaging in questionable practices, like sticking a pair of their own 'quality control' seals on a 'brand new' product. Surely those don't need QC, not from Argos anyway as they come sealed from manufacturer.

Get a different phone at this price range then - plenty of choice
Mine has arrived with a slightly suspicious silver void seal on the box, however everything inside appears untouched, sealed and new
