This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

The price normally goes up and down by £10 around the £450 mark but at £398.99 it's the cheapest I've ever seen it from laptopoutlet. All the top specs from 2018 and you also get a headphone jack that has a superb Quad DAC to power audiophile large headphone like the Sennheiser HD600s or HD650s - it's equal to the separate DAC and headphone amp I paid around £200 for.

The LG V40 also has the best antennae - pcmag.com/art…one

I can vouch for this as my large supermarket normally means I get no signal but this phone has a 4G signal and the workers in the supermarket who work for EE in-store can't get a signal using Huawei or Samsung phones.

I've got the lg g7+ which has identical specs and can vouch for the phone, especially if you're an audiophile, this is the phone to get currently, it doesn't have the 855 or 855+ but it's very solid.
Speaker freebie worth less than £20

Still voted hot, good work OP

Recently picked one of these up. If an audiophile this is great for the DAC. Otherwise it's very ordinary. Camera is so so with the app painfully slow to load, battery meh and performance is a little laggy. Disappointed overall

Mines pretty snappy, zero lag, camera excellent.

Your v40 or g7+?
I liked the look of this but a small battery with a big screen :/

G7+ , but they are identical in specs and most of the software.

The boards, design and software is always supposed to be better, including reliability on the V series.

Doesn't mean they all run the same

My v40 is very ordinary for example.

Of course not, however it's a reasonable expectation that it should be better.
What are LG like for software updates these days? My LG G4 saw just a single Android update, and a few (late) security patches, with the last security patch coming about a year after I bought it. Was a nice phone, but let down by lack of support.

Huawei by contrast have been very good keeping my Honor View 10 updated so far. (But not sure how the Trump factor will affect updates going forward...)

LG are atrocious for updates.. always have been ... Still are.... I don't know how they away with it, they aren't even shamed others excellent updates.

They have improved noticeably with G7, if you take G4 as comparison. Still some catching up to do with Huawei etc

Mine just got an update ( last week) after a year and it's still not on 9... Not happy.

I am, got several security updates in last 6 months, since I bought it (Italian model), and finally Android 9 today

I also got my android update 2 days ago.

Let's just say it's very very very late.

Better late than never... security more important to me tbh

Same here, but you should have a reasonable expectation that a company will release the update as promised, and not be so atrociously late everytime for every phone they've released.
In fact I actually didn't expect it would ever come as LG are pretty bad with updates and usually throw you to the kerb after you buy their phones.
I say this as a g3, g4, g5, g7 owner... ( Yes it's clear I still didn't learn my lesson, but am partial to LG doing some things right like double tap to.awake and sleep, headphone jack with DAC, great cameras)
They have improved substantially @polarbaba , since G7 it's been noticeable. They woke up at last, I know it's very late for Pie but security coming reasonably faster now

Thier sales are way down and they could have been doing much better, simple silly decisions like that have cost them dearly and it was obviously clear it could only be bad.
For me it's a matter of too little too late.
Not sure if I can still go LG next time around.. especially with Thier LG G8 shenanigans, they even permanently glued the battery in!. The mind boggles!

Yep, self-inflicted mistakes/unforced errors cost them dear.

However, I'm taking great pleasure on my G7, rate it as highly as my P20, even preferring LG's UI by some distance, let alone sound. Battery life on Huawei very good though, aggressive memory management, G7 uses too much memory. Of course P20 is not QHD and downgrading resolution on LG is possible for better battery life, but I still doubt it can match Huawei.

I might even upgrade in future to V40 as good deals now started to become available, V40 seems to take it up another gear.

Same here, enjoying my g7, although it's been a bit quirky since changing battery, not charging quick (always under 1a, tried QC and PD nothing works!) and misreporting battery percentage even after 40 charges!.

Odd you had to replace battery so quickly

Sorry to hear about that, maybe you need to let them know what's happening

It was second hand, and the guy o got it from damaged the battery when he tried to put a new phone back on (different colour), since it was second hand and the twit already opened it, no chance of warranty!.
Either way I changed the battery, and the phone life is ok, it lasts me for what I need, it doesn't give a good indication of capacity and fast charging is very very useful when busy.
hey guys how do i get the deal??l really good price
Purchased both phone with speaker from these guys....prompt delivery. Sealed and secure. Uk plug. Been a massive fan of LG predominantly for the DAC that bring wired headphones to life. As soon as it was charged software update....now pie 9. Happy chappy
