Good price I think for the new 5" Moto G. It is £139 without using codes which is the cheapest I could find, but using the new customer code TDX-TLX6 the price comes down further to £129. Free delivery or free collection in store if prefer.

Is this model not dual sim, hence can only be sim free?

Great, just what I'm after, thanks

Cold till the 4G version arrives

should I regret buying my Moto G 4g (Which I Love) ? I think the Moto G 4g is about as big as I want for a phone. What's everyone's opinion?

Thanks OP, nearly ordered this from Amazon yesterday, so save myself £15.

Any tips for a decent case for this one (very new model not much out there yet)

will a giffgaff sim work in this or will it need unlocking?

Sim free means a vanilla phone that comes directly from the factory with no network software or locks.

yes.

Sorry but cant see where says, it is dual sim.

Anyone know if this has aptx ?

Voting hot but can anyone tell me the advantage of buying a phone which cannot receive 4g signal?
As 4g is supposed to be the future why are companies manufacturing phones without it and why are people buying them ,surely you will have this phone for a minimum of 18 months by which time 4g will be pretty much everywhere ?

Under Product Specifications - Connectivity it says sim slots - dual sim

Because 18 months is a long time in the context of smartphone development. By then the Moto H (or whatever) will be out, HUKD will have a dedicated section for it and the networks maybe will have done something about high speed data coverage outside the M25.

I think saying 'much better' is stretching things somewhat, the new Moto G has some improvements such as dual sim but the larger screen with lower pixel density doesn't make it better, just larger and not everyone wants larger. Lack of 4G is a real kicker for many, better camera is better of course as are front speakers.

better dual front speakers, better sim capacity(dual), better/bigger screen, better cameras... they're pretty important features on a phone for me. Much better phone imo.

Seems in stock for me at this time

Thanks voted hot just bought one

Yes so it's better for you not necessarily better for everyone.... it all depends on the features you require.

Many people don't consider this enough to upgrade from the original Moto G let alone the 4G version. Now when Moto release their 4G version of this phone then I'd say it's (probably) a better phone than the original Moto G/Moto 4G
