I've got the (3G) dual sim version, and it's a cracking little phone (edit: my mistake, it's the second generation version I have -- thanks, chancooluk). If I didn't need the dual SIM capability, I'd be seriously tempted.

Cheaper at CEX, but they've no stock, so, barring access to a time machine, that means heat for this deal.

Not convinced you would get a 12 month warranty from CEX either?

I bought an XT1068 refurb from them a couple of weeks ago. It was in shocking condition, covered in muck and scratches.

It clearly hadn't been refurbished in any way.

I'm assuming you have the 5" 2nd Gen Version (XT1068). This is the 1st Gen 4G version (XT1039) which has a smaller screen and rubbish cameras.

You're right. Thanks for the correction.

Rubbish camera but pretty decent tethering performance, and OTA update to Android 5.1 as of a week or so ago

I got a refurb XT1039 from Argos a couple of weeks back, absolutely perfect condition, really pleased with it.

There is a part of me that wants to understand why so many cold votes on this one, but I imagine the answers will be nonsensical so I won't ask...

I suspect "if I spend 5 times as much, I can get something arguably twice as good" would cover many of them. The camera is a bit of a weak point, but focus etc seems a bit better since the 5.1 upgrade oddly, and the near-vanilla android I'd take in a heartbeat over touchwiz/sense/whatever-the-sony-thing-is.

I bought the wife a z3 just before xmas, I'd honestly not see any benefit in it over my moto 4g, and prefer the moto interface.

love my moto g . android 5.1 as well now :-)

I've got the gen 2 dual SIM, and I'm still on 5.0.2.

I find the 5MP camera on this phone to be quite good. Don't know what others are on about... Android Lollipop 5.1 as of a month ago Few little nigles regarding the update compared to KitKat but I do prefer the notifications shade on 5.1

Probably because its been available in a few places recently between £80 & £95 for a brand new one. Don't know if these deals are still on going but its probably the fact too that it's a refurb. Not saying I agree with the cold votes but I understand the thinking.

Just got lollipop update. Good VFM

just got one for my mum today.its brand new.shame its only bundled with a usb cable and no wall charger.but for £80 who can moan.

Just bought one to replace a lg g2, nothing comes close for £80
