Get the 4g for £10 more and have an sd card slot.

Probably a lot of comments are going to follow this but I don't think 4g is a big selling point. I'm on WiFi most of the time and when I am on 3g its fine. I've used 4g on the iPhone 5 and I don't think its worth paying more for.

However I bought one of these from the 02 shop last week for £99 so this deal is a cold one and I'm sure there around the same price from Tesco?.

Good point - the sd card slot is a big bonus for some, aside from 4g capability.

accidentally voted this hot because i mistakenly thought only the ghanaian branch of argos would still be trying to pass this off as a phone to the public.

can i take back my hotness (i;ve asked this question many times as drunk women swarmed around me)?

The 4G version has a micro-sd slot, 4G network and a gyroscope. Worth £10.

Mine was sim free from the 02 shop. The guy said they are told to advice people to put an 02 card in but it is actually sim free. Also good point on the memory card but its useless to most people unless its rooted?

Unlock code is less than £2 on eBay so not worth paying a premium for Sim free.

True say, I hear u? .. but like what some 'Others Above' have also stated .. this 'SIM Free' 4G-Enabled Version is MORE then just a 4G (as opposed to a Standard 3G-Enabled) 'SIM Free Premium' Phone? .. 1 person mentioned Gyroscope (important for some?, though not important for everyone?) + 1 other person also mentioned the addition of an SD Card Slot too? (important for many?) .. so ..... (depends on your 'Interpretation'?) lol. :-)

Ps.
Sometimes when u play around with these 'Unlock Codes' off the Net, &/or off the Market & the like, sometimes every so often, these 'Codes' can knacker your Phone up shortly after! .. so being able to get this as standard as an already 'Unlocked/SIM Free' Phone is more then ok too for my liking ..... lol. :-)

Fair enough ..... thanx for that .. that bit of useful Info. you've menrioned will definately help out plentyyyyyy ..... lol. :-)

4g is only good if your in a 4g area

Aaah nice and refreshing. I came to this deal just to cool down from the scorching weather, cheers OP X).

The phone in this offer is the old 3G version with no micro SD card. Other posters have said it is better value to pay £10 more for the new 4G with micro SD.

The 3G 8GB model can be had much cheaper, as little as £80 recently plus about £1.50 for an unlock code

Or from Tesco direct it is £145 locked to Tesco but you can use one of the new customer voucher codes for £10 or £15 off (plus quid/TCB) so you could get it for about £130 after buying an unlock code providing the voucher works and cashback tracks.

unlock codes don't mysteriously misbehave....they either work or they don't because the code might be wrong or incorrectly entered. they generally are not self aware and cause mayhem.
