Bought one for my dad and the quality is excellent
Argos version is meant to be dual SIM so might be handy for some people.
Also Lenovo UK store has the dual SIM version for £159.99 but you can get 10% off by signing up to lenovos news letter.

It's a disgrace isn't it? 🤪
I have this phone and while I love the battery life, the biggest weakness of this phone is the wifi speed.
It only works on 2.4Ghz I believe and is intollerably slow.
I can only use my phone on 4G if I want a decent download speed.
If I use wifi, even on a fibre network, I am lucky to get over 1.5mb download speeds.
I have since looked into this and it is a big complaint from users of this phone.
I have altered all my home wifi settings trying to find a way around this but to no avail...
If you are happy to use 4G all the time, then this could be a great phone for you...

That's not a 2.4GHz problem, might just be the WiFi in them is rubbish in general. I've seen mixed issues WRT the WiFi which is one of the reasons I avoided the Power in the end. Do you have Bluetooth on? I remember reading turning that off fixed the issue for some people. Otherwise I'd get in touch with Motorolo as there's obviously something wrong with it and I've seen them accepting returns to fix the issue on their forums from memory.
The mi A3 is literally better in every way and cheaper at eglobal central, who I have used several time without issue.
i bought this phone from argos ebay for £111.19 last thursday.still using my old phone at moment but it seems quick and responsive
My girlfriend is thinking of getting this to replace her S7. Will she be able to buy things with it? She currently uses Samsung pay I think.

I can confirm the Argos version is dual SIM. Has mine about 2 months now. Great phone.

Nope. See above for lack of NFC

No NFC so no she won't, unfortunately.
This, or a brand new mate 20 pro?

What is wrong with the S7? Providing that info will give the many knowledgeable experts here suggest the best upgrade.
Great phone but lack of NFC
Bought this at £159 a few months ago. Chose it as battery is amazing. Sure, had to sacrifice NFC. However long battery life is really worth it. I cycle quite a lot and use Google map. There is no chance of battery running out on a all day ride
I bought this at launch and loved it since. Battery is amazing, partly thanks to lower res screen, which I've never had an issue with. Don't use NFC as I carry a wallet. Never had any problems with the WiFi or other connections. I use it as a work phone and sat nav for camping trips and as my personal mobile, it's an absolute workhorse. I don't game though so maybe that's why the comparatively "low" specs don't bother me.
I find the lack of compass when using maps more annoying than lack of NFC.

The camera is broken. No NFC rules this out. Thanks all for helpful comments
