Nice looking device, but I'm wary of Chinese android devices with the China/US trade war at the moment
Just to warn you, this device has a known problem with signal dropping out, Security update is also currently stuck on December 2018. Just to warn any potential punter
Ironically this phone needs a powerbank less than most others
What a deal.....1% down in price. £130 on Eglobalcentaluk!!!

Not on mine, signal fine. Also got update to August 2019. Absolutely solid battery, can't fault it.

I'm just testing these for a 1 touch corporate deployment. Ones received last week do initial 500 Mb OS update then 300Mb Google apps update followed by another 200Mb update to get them to 1st Aug 2019 security patch on Android. See screen shot. Need to do via WiFi tbh.
38546177-7XXSS.jpgNot a bad cheap midrange phone IMHO. Toby Deals doing it for £127. Might do you a cheap carvery as well. Yes that is a joke!

What network do you use?
reb3127/09/2019 13:26

VodafoneModel is XT1955-4

Same model but I'm on 3 network. The signal issue is terrible for me and sadly no update. Checked again nothing

Mine is unlocked, purchased from Amazon - not sure if this matters, are yours locked to 3? Could be down to them?

Bought mine directly from Motorola and it's unlocked. This is a known issue on the forums. You got a lucky one as it's a great phone if it has all the right updates etc. Battery life is the best especially for someone like me who does a lot of speedster travelling.lol
I need to try and get this update/fix asap so I can enjoy the phone.

It's August 2019 on the one I have. Must've been updated since. Cheers

I am on 3 and confirm I have update August 2019 installed ok. Haven't noticed any signal issues but the 3 reception is pretty good around here. Might be worth trying a factory restore and seeing if it let you update.

Through normal check for updates but due to the size you must be on good WiFi. Restart phone first to clear memory and check you have enough free space. From out of the box there were 500Mb update to get to June security update. 300Mb Google updates then another 200Mb to get to August update. 3 reboots required.

Tried factory restore etc several times but no fix. A quick chat with Moto customer service had me send the phone to the Moro repair centre for repair and update to latest sec update +fixes. They asked for the build number as well....I think Motorola are very aware of this issue
Phone returned from Motorola and fixed + all updates. Phone is faster and more stable with WiFi/4G issue sorted. This is a good phone coupled with the battery life. Thanks guys
