Why cold votes and no comments, doesn't help people one bit, come on play the game!!

rather pay for the sim unlocked version which also the updates quicker .. The tesco one didn't get pr1.1 (will get pr1.2 or pr2 instead).

Not voted as haven't use this version of Symbian, but I've been disappointed with older versions.

I'd pay this IF I could get Android on it, but I know that's never going happen. . .

I had this phone and it was dire!

Symbian remains a horrible thing to use. The phone itself feels cheaply made. My N8 randomly changed its language when it felt like. One minute it would work ok then a second later it would go scandinavian.

Took it back and got a Desire HD. Far better phone and Androis a far better OS

It just goes to show how personal things like mobile phones are. My wife has this phone and I've played with it many times. My experiences (and hers) are the exact opposite to yours.

This is also nearly £32 cheaper than the one from Play.com. (Including P&P and Quidco.) Plus I don't know if Play offer the 2 year warranty.

I would pay £285 for Tesco one and unlock for £20.

This is a decent phone, nearly all reviews comment on how well made and solid it is - I would agree that it is well made because it has an aluminium body and gorilla glass instead of the usual cheap plastic you get with HTC. Currently there is PR1.2 level firmware available but in the next couple of months there is a PR2.0 update coming with updated browser and general usability improvements.

And of course the camera is absolutely miles better than any other phone camera.

I would vote hot for this phone but there is a cheaper route via the Tesco one.

Pr2.0 is coming in april. Pr1.2 is coming out for those handsets who missed the pr1.1 release (tescos branded one).

Mine is an unbranded n8 and it has never changed language ...
