I have it - been very happy with it - good battery life and features.
I bought this phone last week i paid £330 new from argos ebay.

It seems really nice i'm happy with it so far not used it much but coming from a moto g it was a massive upgrade for me.

Can you apply for the free AKG Y500 Headphones on refurbished units be cool if you could.

I've had it for a while now and I'm mostly happy.
The finger print scanner is poor (for me) and is more frustrating than useful. Performance wise it's fine and deals with everything I use it for. The fingerprint scanner is my only real complaint but I can deal with that (pin code or facial recognition).
Hope that helps.

It applies to the model but not sure if the refurb purchase would qualify for it

Would be nice to find out though.

Yes I got one for Mrs bear, and it's amazing.. heavy because of the huge screen and battery, but fast, feature rich, and with no compromises.
Very very difficult to refuse this phone ...

I have a lg g7+ (Snapdragon 845 with 6gb ram) for reference and I think it's easily as fast if not faster.

Mrs bear loves it for the excellent screen.

Fingerprint sensor is still crap even after update. Doesn't work for me or Mrs bear.

Even then buy with confidence, if you need spares afterwards then they will be easy to get.

Screen protectors and cases are abundant.

Software updates also seem forthcoming.. uncharacteristic for Samsung!.

Same here. Got it dirt cheap on the samsung trade in deal earlier this year. Finger print sensor is awful, camera is mediocre but performance, screen and battery life superb.

Same here, bought for son, cost £200.15 after trade-in, Samsung cashback and TCB offers. They accepted working HTC Cha Cha as a trade-in, no questions asked so worked out an amazing deal. Son is well happy with the phone.
A70 is a great phone if you don't mind the size. Updates have cured the flakey fingerprint sensor, which now works well, and have improved the cameras a lot. Photo quality is very good. And battery lasted about two days. At this price, a bargain.

I also had this phone and initially loved it but the finger print scanner was awfully frustrating, to the point where i switched to face unlock....didn't like how insecure that was so i sold the phone, and yes i got the finger print update which did help a little but not enough.

Hi do, been Samsung customer for the last 10 years. I've started with the Galaxy S2 till the S9 when I've swapped from Samsung "Galaxy S" models to "A50". My partner was fed up with apple so I have gave him the A50 and I've bought myself the A70. I love it!! The only two specifications I do miss from the S9 is wireless charging and waterproof phone. For the rest, 100 amazing
I got an A70 a few months ago, when they came out. Moved from iPhone X, so was execting a huge performance hit going from a £1500 phone to a £350 phone. To be fair, it has been excellent. Camera is a triple lens affair and for me is plenty good enough. As others have said, the finger print scanner, which is built in to the front screen was very poor, but Samsung have pushed out a couple of updates which seem to have improved it. Still nowhere near as good as it should be, but I have it set to unlock with facial and I mostly use this and it works as well as I could expect. I don't game on it, but kids have tried it and no bad comments, so I assume it is good enough. I looked for a while for a decent Android unit for a sensible price and I am quite happy. I had used a One Plus before this, but battery life was poor. This, however, charges very quickly and I get 2 days from it. Hope this help anyone trying to decide....
Had this for a week, sent back. Fingerprint scanner was annoying, but the camera was the clincher....truly terrible

The camera is pretty average. I dont think it's any better than my old iphone 6S. Horrible noise reduction, slow to start up half the time.
