Agreed! Every retailer has different assessment of grades and some completely don't understand the value of having the original box and accessories.

@MrSwitch in your opinion who has the best grading system for phones?

Anyone know what the battery is like on these refurbs. Ive an S8+, 18 months old or so. Not a mark on it, and working as good as the day I got it. Battery is nigh on useless tho. Id quite happily swap for this (for very little cost) if the batt was decent enuff

Do you have a Samsung Support Centre near you?

One of the ones near me charges £38 to change the battery which seems a fair price - will use their service when the battery on my S8 starts to show signs of age.

Best practice is replacing battery if it can't charge above 90% capacity, but nowadays some retailers don't bother to check battery health

Basically it's roll of the dice with Argos, all that BS of 'Argos Manager Special' is that, just BS

Many report good experiences with them though, easy returns

This phone beats 2019 mid-range handily

Excellent phone imo,as far as Argos eBay are concerned you're likely to get one that's just a customer return so battery will be fine as hardly used, if it's not ok it's eBay so just go straight to "return item as not as described" you'll get a return label to print off, send it back, easy as that.

Oh yeah pity they're oos.

Smartfonestore are really strict with their grading. A Grade B would be like a Grade A or even Like New anywhere else. Just generic packaging.
