Very decent price for a 12GB allowance sim.

Just so everyone knows.. it's really cool to bash Three, it makes you really popular and gets everyone talking about you. :/

EVERY network has good and bad places, I get great Three signal, but bad 02 signal. My mum can ONLY pick up Vodafone at hers. It's about where you live rather than "THREE IS THE WORST NETWORK OMG" 🙈

Good job you don't use much data as it won't work anyway.
All I know is when I really need to make or receive a call or use data, 3 will let me down.

Of the many networks I've used (including budget ones that piggyback off mainstream networks with less priority/speed), 3 was the absolute worst. Everywhere I went (North, South, Midlands), the signal was absolutely atrocious indoors and I rarely got usable speeds inside.

Deal link is not working for me.
I got the same deal for my wife and son a few weeks ago on a 12m renewal, so its not a bad deal if you get decent 4g speeds for your location. I binned them in June and jumped to o2 as I wanted 5g and 3 are years behind the rest on this topic

My signal is a solid 5 bars inside my house but my data speed will often drop to 0.2 Mbps in the evening and averages 2Mbps at a quiet part of the night so don't worry too much about having a strong signal as it means nothing to Three's over subscribed network.
Luckily I'm using my sim in a Huawei router and with an app I can change the band it's using so if I select Band one 2100MHz even though the router connects to a weaker signal (3 bars) the band must be less used and I can get 15Mbps.

That's a sign for you to stear clear of this company.
I dumped Three in June and jumped to Sky Mobile (O2). I will never return to Three. The coverage on Three is appalling and no amount of cheap deals will entice me back!
Counting down the days i can leave this dreadful network. My personal experience has been awful, try it first is all i can say.

Thanks for the tip! Switched off 4g and now using 3g only, my speed gone from 2mbps to 18mbps.

Weird, I have the opposite. Almost like it's the same for every mobile provider all over the country?
Tip, take this contract and then upgrade to the unlimited data for about £11-13. I think it's nearly £2 for the next data plan, which is 30gb followed by another £2 for the next data plan, which is their unlimited data plan. That's how this approximately works out but you need to speak to them after 5-10 days.

Completely agree Justin. I use Three for my mobile and also have a Three SIM in a 4G router. Saves me a fortune compared to Fibre. Speeds are generally excellent for me on the outskirts of London.

I’ve currently got the same deal but paying £12 a month. I wonder if they will drop my plan to match this?

Been with Three for a few years now.
Best app I have seen so far, usage, billing etc all work properly.
I get the best signal on three but am in a bad signal area.
Never had a problem with them and it all seems to work the way it should.
Check out uswitch.com for some good sim only deals from multiple providers. Just picked up a sim with 4GB data and unlimited minutes & texts from talkmobile (vodafone's no-frills provider) for £6.50 per month on a 30 day rolling contract.
Been using Three in Yorkshire for years. Got the wife and kids on it. 5 SIM cards at a total cost of just over £40pm. Can’t knock it really, no signal problems at all even when out walking in the Dales.

I called and asked for a better deal, was offered £10. Asked for a pac code to leave. Then retentions rang eme and offered me this, but for 24 months...

Voted hot, but I'm not pleased.
I'm on this deal but at £10p/m ( I thought) on checking my app it seems it's costing£11.64 p/m.
I'm tempted to contact them to match this, but I have £55 TCB pending.
If it doesn't pay out. I'll be fuming 😡

You must be unlucky then, i've been with them 14yrs and never had a problem.
I was on this tariff, but switched last week. I was paying ~£13.33 and had been on it for ~3 years, Three contacted me and said they were upping it to £19 (which we all know is ridiculous). They didn't offer me this deal even though I said I knew they could do better. I switched to a EE virtual network and my new SIM is often 10 times faster (only travelled around northern Manchester so far). Would have stayed due to laziness if they offered me this deal.

So glad someone has said this.

I've used Three a few times in the past and although the download speeds aren't the best it was perfectly fine.

On the other hand, in one of my previous jobs, my Vodafone signal was non-existant (but friends on EE had great signal)

Like you say, it's all about where you live.
I have used 3 for a number of year now with no issue accept for last week in the lake district. I do a lot of working away from home and get no issues when working al over England , Scotland and Wales. Biggest issue is the off shore call centre. Best to use webchat as the call centre does not understand a Scottish accent and I struggle with them
Three are hopeless in County Durham capacity issues everywhere you go!
Yes I agree 3 is usually poor signal and speed. But in certain locations it can be excellent.

10 X faster says it all.
Was with BT,but they kept upping the price from £22 to 40 odd in the end, then went 3 sim in deepings Lincs, costs about £18 its unlimited and I get 23Mbps download. I'd like 50 Mbps really so when contract is finished I'll look around, as we all do!
Why this guy Mark keep posting Three deals? and get trolled heavily 😁
And how much of that data can you only get if you stand on a pole outside your house?
My partner is out of contract with Three on SIMO. This deal not listed on her upgrade options.
Tried contacting them and they are denying knowledge it exists! Claiming it's a third-party offer... Despite the fact we're looking at it on their site whilst on live chat! Frustrating and poor knowledge from their staff.
