It will be just not yet

"Virgin Media has today announced that all of its mobile services will be moving over to Vodafone from EE as of late 2021, although the exact date is yet to be confirmed.

Cheers for the heat mate

Just annoying how Virgin Mobile isn't in my area when Vodafone is available in my area but on a good deal myself anyway

Thanks OP. Just changed my existing Virgin 15GB - £13p/m deal to this 25GB - £12 deal.

Might be o2
Had excellent speeds when I was with Virgin. Customer service is something to be desired but most of the other network providers are not great either

How do you change over if on virgin at the moment ? We have 2 I would like to change ?
This may well not be the best way to do it (and its from memory) but...

1. Clicked on the deal link
2. Clicked Yes to "Do I have existing virgin tv"
3. Clicked grab the deal.
4. Said no to changing my number
5. Signed in to my mobile account with the "sign in" drop down at the top of the virgin screen.
6. I right clicked on the back button and said go back to the "Virgin Media - PAYM - Overview" screen.
7. Might have hit refresh but then I had the option to upgrade my existing number to this deal.

Sorry I can't be more certain of the steps.
can you gift data from EE number to Virgin?

One more question - do you have to give a months notice on your current contract and sign up for new one so end up paying 2 x for the first month ??

Not seeing that deal now. It is £30 TCB for 30GB data for £12 per month on a 24-month contract. A comment above mentioned the 36GB data deal ended yesterday.

Good price. Missed that deal, how annoying.
To anyone who is a Virgin Media Broadband/TV customer, do they offer reduced prices on additional SIM only contracts other than anything that was originally included in a bundle deal? i.e. The Ultimate Oomph bundle includes one unlimited data, mins, texts SIM. If after signing up for that bundle, you added say this deal would it be cheaper than £12pm?

The £130 Quidco cashback seems too good to be true as the monthly amount is equivalent to £1.17 per month!

I have moved to Vodafone via e2save for 60GB 12month for £8.50

Yes, I have to claim cashback. I have been using e2save for many years and works. You need to keep a self reminder to submit the bills to e2save to get the cashback40950112-xWzJ6.jpg

I'm on the Vodafone 60GB for £8 via Fonehouse, no cheques, just submit a pdf then got the cashback direct into my account.

I used to be with Virgin but found them really slow, also no 4G/Band 20 calling and at the time no wifi calling (although they now have that).

Not yet ..moving to vodafone from late 2021

Below is from Virgins website

"Virgin Media has agreed a five year deal with Vodafone UK to bring innovative new services, including 5G, to more than three million mobile customers and provide further flexibility to grow its mobile operation.

The new Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) agreement, which runs until 2026, will see Vodafone supply wholesale mobile network services, including both voice and data, to Virgin Mobile and Virgin Media Business. Virgin Media will have full access to all of Vodafone’s current services and future technologies, such as Vodafone’s expanding 5G network, enabling new product advancements and benefits for its customers."

This is the current plan, though there are rumours that if the o2/virgin mergers gets approved by the competitions authority that virgin may try and negotiate to terminate the agreement with Vodafone for the mvno, thus allowing it to use the o2 network
Mmm :/

OMG. Are e2save still going. I used them many years ago for their cashback deals. Had some great offers, but how I pulled my hair out trying to work out what bills they needed to get money back. TBH, I would rather pay a little more and keep my (now grey) hair.

I'm fine with this current deal. I saw the 36gb deal, but didnt feel I needed 36gb, even for just £1 more.
Cool
going via quidco the 36gb for £13 is still available.

**EDIT: At checkout it states "6gb data", so looks like the 6x multiplier isn't being recorded....or valid now.

hahah

they have simplified things now. They give clear instructions and all I do is send past 3 months bills... let them deal with it

and I get the cheques to deposit. Not sure when they will digitise the refunds, that will save a lot of time.. going to back
I go once a year
To any virgin media people reading

Have a FIXED priced wifi only deal between £10 to £15 a month fixed for 12, 18 or 24 months. It will give people peace of mind and help them plan their budgets for the recession about to hit. Price promise not to up it at all (like you normally do)!

Far as I can see this is straight 25GB rollover normally they tell you on Virgin transaction page when extra data is added on
