What is Sim only?
SIM only is just that, where you only pay for the minutes, texts, and data you use on your sim-card.
You will have to supply your own device i.e phone/tablet to insert the sim-card into, hence why it's called 'sim only'

Now on 5g with 40gb is hot deal, not a fan of 3 but the launch of smarty has pressured other providers to increase data in their deals which is good for everyone.
Ditto, 3 poor coverage where I live but have friends with smarty on the 30gb and like it so heat added.
Yes, articles in the news said that they joined it from today but my phone is telling /showing me different.
5G has arrived at Smarty.
5G enabled devices here.
Yes good deal if it works well in your area,I suppose you could try it and cancel if it's no good (I still find it hard to recommend the 3 network tho)

3 is no good for me at home, but I used to get good coverage almost everywhere else I visit. I don't like 3 personally but have several friends who are on smarty and they recommend it.
As i have stated, my phone showing 5g on 3sim but doesn't show it on smarty sim. Have you read my sentence to the end?
Edit: opened in private browser and it worked
What phone is it? Is it one of the supported 5G devices linked in my reply?
If you can use them, good for you! This is a great deal
Heated OP.
I've been on EE 5G 200GB contract for about £20 a month for over a year and 5G works well here.
I could understand if they sold those handsets, but hey ho, they've lost me as a customer.
I'm not sure sorry, maybe try messaging customer support? When I was with Smarty a while ago they were quite helpful moving me to offers, including new customer offers without fuss when I asked. Best of luck
What do you say in these parts?
Hear, hear
Samsung 21ultra
And it stated as ready but not full 5g, the same as tv, hd ready meabs not 1080 but 720 only
Which area are you in? When I was with smarty it was poor but still usable (Birmingham area) idk whether to switch back, currently with voxi and speed is fantastic tbh
I'm on Smarty and it's showing that I'm on 5G. I have the Samsung A52s since mid December and I noticed my phone being connected on 5G a few weeks ago. Was using the Pixel 2 before the A52s.
That's just showing off
Was with 3 before hand for years, but never had any issues with signal with them, only changed to smarty from 3 as 3 couldn’t and wouldn’t match the deal.
I get good coverage and speeds in London.
Yes it start to work/show from this morning of 5G connection, even speed increased well.
I never got this offer when leaving but then again I left over a year ago for Voxi's endless everything for £10, things have probably changed with Smarty since then
I'm just outside Wolverhampton towards Telford. I travel into Birmingham a few times a month with work and I don't have any network issues when I'm there. I tried Lebara and Giffgaff but Vodafone and O2 aren't very good around here for my house and got them both to refund my first month as the coverage and speed was terrible.
Give it a few more years
EE at top of everything it would seem. Three not looking so good
Top of everything including price.
