£5.83/pm possible when going through TopCashback's £50 claim on this £10/pm 12-month contract.

i.e. £10 x 12 months = £120
£120 - £50 cashback = £70
£70 / 12 months = £5.83

This is supposing you cancel after 12 months, of course.

A few more details about this plan available here.

Love Three, best customer service ever. I was recently in Montana, USA where I had free data roam, but I was close to Canadian border so Canada grabbed my data network and cost me £27 for data ! Three refunded me straight away.

Just want to add, it happened to my girlfriend as well as we were together at the time and Three refunded her as well.

Simply simply lovely
Did this back in March. The cashback just recently became payable.

I had a contract with 3 at the time, changed it to pay as you go and got this one. Looking to repeat this process every 12 months.

Here's the promotional email I received from TopCashback about this...

As far as I can tell, this contract doesn't appear to be available on Three's own website under sim-only plans.
So you must go through topcashback.
Heat.

Hot - just switched to Three using this TCB promo (at a lower rate of only £45 cashback!) and would really recommend!

Good deal if u can get the cashback granted ur ok being locked in for 12m.
Does this allow tethering?
I did this earlier in the year and was supposed to be £55 but only paid £45

Yes, like you and a few others, I also took the offer earlier this year and I've just realised that they have paid out £45.

In all honesty I can't recall how much the cash back was supposed to be, but £75 for a years phone bill is ace.
When Three allow teathering & they have more countries than any other network where you can use your allowance for free; can't fault it really.

Happened to me once also with giffgaff, was supposed to be paid out £45 for new handset, but they only gave me £5!
But if you simply go to the customer service section, it allows you to claim the missing cashback amount.

I found out that TCB record the date/time and amount of the deal you clicked on, so it makes it easier to know in the future what the cashback amount was supposed to be (I thought I was to be paid £40, but was surprised TCB recorded £45 against my case).

It takes time, but eventually (in 2/3 months) they will be able to get the missing amount from retailer.
Rather than faff about each year.. talk to them as the contract is ending, and they'll give you this deal for a fiver.

I have been with 3 for 5 years now having switched from EE “not much anywhere”. Best decision I have made. CS has been good and the roaming has been perfect in USA, Spain and Austria. Upgrades and getting deals when contracts end have been easy and good value. They have been great for me.

At the Niagara Falls same issue. I used my phones options to manually select a US network, as from the other side of the river it offered perfect coverage. Saved Three giving me a 'refund'.

I tried switch to text at least 10 times.
No respond received.
Then I had to call the three times in three different days.
Finally they provided pac code.
I have sent back their home signal box also.
paid back early termination fee because I didn’t want to stay with three anymore.

Did you read the link? Its from ofcom, and came into force in 1st July. Send PAC to 65075 for *any* mobile operator and they have to send you your PAC code in a minute.
Yes I read the new Ofcom rule to allow the customers to switch by texting.
And I tried that last week.
But it was not working with three.
Then I had to call three manually.

I tried TCB for rhe 1st time on a recent Three deal. It didn't track. Lodged a claim, it was interesting to see that the TCB online claim form seemed to 'know' about my purchase which speeded up claiming. The jury's out till my tracking appears. Whichever cashback site you choose, keep screenshots of evey step and a shot of your browser history with its timings.

Agreed. I've recently negotiated this deal for £6 8gb. Just did it over live chat, took 5 minutes.

With the new OFCOM ruling, you only need to send a PAC request text to leave any mobile phone provider. It literally takes 1 minute.
So I've just got this for £9 a month through the money saving expert. Have to say the data coverage and signal strenth is a big step down from Vodafone.
Need a data sim for my iPad Pro. Can I use this instead?

Its sounds you are talking about VODAFONE
Well Vodafone is already notorious for their customer service.
They have an established bad name though.
Wanted to lock my SIM today as insurance against misuse of it if phone stolen. Got in a mess and locked myself out of it. Called Three tech dept and it was resolved via a new PUK code instantly - not even a queue to wait on.
Edited by: "harrythefish" 11th Jul
Avoid Three for certain! Tried charge me 80 quid in early termination fees when I left. I had to cancel my direct debit and had to ring their customer service line 8 times for a resolution. I got directed several times each call, and a few times to some random trade union's customer service who said they get a lot of redirects from Three and have no clue why. The other times would be telling me to submit proof to a certain email address and wait three days which yielded no result. Finally after several phone calls I got hold of someone who waived the early termination fees. Bloody joke.

Just go to online chat as a three customer and say you don't feel valued at as a customer. Dont mention leaving or reducing your bill.

Thanks for that, I'll try it out. The thing is, it's not like it's even a lie, the service hasn't been great in terms of 4G lately (where I live anyway). It's strange as up until a few weeks ago it was awesome. Cheers for the tip and congratulations on your monthly bill, that's just awesome!
