I take it you don't use hotels then? I'm pretty sure that refurbished mattresses are cleaned thoroughly and have new covers put on them, pretty sure a hotel room clean doesn't do that!!

Refurbished memory foam mattress! the only problem is do they forget?
I bought one last week, then i read all the comments here and got paranoid! I went over it with a UV light CSI style, and thankfully no stains or anything to make me barf

which code?
It tells you on their website what refurbished means - they replace everything external someone could have touched, only the internal part is second hand. I bought one a few months ago, you'd never know it was a refurb

Some people order a new mattress for their holidays and have it delivered to the hotel and then throw it away.
They also order a new toilet seat and ask the hotel to install it.

They carry one in their bag in case the need to go when out.

Some people do not want returns. This is fine.
I do not want a refurbished either, but some of the comments are hard to understand.
Got a king size one on a previous deal. Good mattress and no quality or cleanliness issues with the one I received

Then they are bl00dy unstable. That can't be a thing surely? If you're reading this and that's you, get help - you're in a bad way.

i do but not 365 days a year. Have to say I'm not a squeamish person but the thought of a refurbished mattress to use all year round, no. Don't simba offer a 100 day no quibble refund guarantee? Someone could have been using this for over 3 months, if so...

Surely you know ultra-rich expect a new mattress in a hotel. £600 is cheap compared to a hotel room price, they pay.
Thanks mate, missed out last time, so decided to replace several old ones with these, seems a great price
Thanks OP, ordered! Was actually looking at these beds the other day but thought it was too pricey for me but at this price it's a steal. Looking forward to a better night's sleep (hopefully!)
Funny, I posted a very similar deal last week and it went ice cold.
I have the king size of this and its refurbished. It is very comfy and looked and felt brand new. Just if anyone is curious

Spending the occasional night in a hotel room bed is a bit different to your bed at home though don't you think?

Or do you live in a hotel room?

what sort of firmness would you say they are?
I've got one and it's dipping on one side already, less than a year old

Simba advise this is a medium rated mattress but Which reports give it a 9 on a 1-10 scale where 1 is firmest and 10 is the softest.
I had one and I ended up with backache after 5 or 6 weeks.

Not sure what you mean. I still have it. Bought it in March. It is comfortable but surprised it's dipped already. Mine was a refurb £182 from simba ebay. Looked brand new though.

Guess it's different opinion for different people...only way to tell is to lay on one for my self.

The average person farts 5 times a night in their sleep. Over 3 months that = approx 450 farts

No difference in my mind, as you said in a later post 5 farts a night in a hotel bed with occupancy of 250 nights a year for example = 1250. Pretty sure Simba, Otty etc only refurb mattresses with less than 30 days use (Otty definitely do) so probably more harm in one night in a hotel bed than buying one of these. Horses for courses, just seems some people are happy to do one but not the other. Personally, I would put on a good quality mattress cover if I were concerned.
Seeing as this is a Simba mattress you are only meant to li-on it.
Thing is, if the previous owners had made babies on this the internals will have got a little, er, soiled if you know what I mean. That's if they were any good at it
