I've tried with 3 different people and wasted 2 hours. Got offered 12gb for 20 quid max.
Time to change network instead of keeping both phones with EE.

same - missus is paying £13.99 for unlimited mins & texts and 1gb internet.. time to leave EE

That seems like a decent deal.

I spoke to someone early December and someone a couple of days ago.

The best sim only deal was £12.99 for unlimited calls and texts with 2gb data. I guess it's ok but no where near the posted deal.

After over 12 years with orange maybe time to change as the loyality seems to be lacking with orange to ee customers

Try telling them your mate already has [Insert deal here], they sometimes take the bait and offer you something reasonable, but it's the luck of the draw. There's also speaking to their manager, which they avoid at all costs.

that's a good price buddy... I rang the other night to cancel mine so I could move to the £10 plusnet deal.... the best that EE would offer is £10.99 a month with a 12mnth contract.

it's all a game you have to play... ask for your PAC, then wait.... could take a week or two, but someone will call you back with a great deal. is never bother talking to their first line customer support. I have to wait till 22nd before I'm into my last 45 days to discuss new contract and the top two deals mentioned here are exactly what i want. 4gb for £8 and min 20gb for £15.

if u phone EE and tell them that virgin is doing 20gb for £15 a month rolling they will give you that on a 12 month contract with unlimited minutes n texts to use in Europe, plus 15gb data also for use in Europe. added extras is the Max EE (min 60 mbps they claim) and BT sport for the 12 months. I didn't even have to talk to them for long, told them to match Virgins deal or I'm off. also told them virgin use the EE network, so it will be as good and my phone won't need unlocking either :-)

I've tried it. I've quoted deals from other networks and I could only hear how superior EE is and how reliable and that's why it's more expensive

That's what I was planning to do. I need at least 20gb.
3 is giving 30gb for 18 quid. My friend have unlimited data from 3 network for 17 quid a month. That's what is annoying

I know a friend who's managed to talk his way into keeping his original 4G Unlimited SIMO from 2013 on 3 and pays like £10 a month on a rolling basis that doesn't increase with RPI. IDK how he did it but that's the kind of deal that I would like.

Got the same deal last year. Requested PAC code first. Did have to push a bit but got deal without any trouble.

I got offered £20 for 25GB EE MAX SIM by the "Refuse to Lose Team" after requesting a pac code as retention team couldn't do anything with my account.

Im paying ee £12 a month for unlimited min/tx and 5gb of data! Time to try this i think and ask them for pac code and wait and see what they offer!! Cheers

Can we stop posting these retention deals?

They are usually specific to the customer.

And half the time they are made up

I'm on £12.99 for unlimited mins and texts with 5gb data since May 2015 which was also a retention deal. Is it possible for me to get this deal mentioned in the op?

just as annoying as deals in local shops!

Does anyone know why every other network provider is offering some great deals yet EE aren't . I've been looking for one since early October for my gf as where we live the signal is really bad and EE offer wifi calling?

They're doing 12GB for £19.99. Which for EE counts as quite good.

I guess they're doing well enough not to need to drop prices. This is the why having massive companies dominating an industry is a bad thing I guess.

I got this from EE 3 weeks ago when I called to cancel my t- mobile contract. Lovely Welsh lady offered it straight away without any haggling at all.

Give your 30 days notice and you'll eventually get a call from a uk based retention team who will give you the best deals you can get. Don't expect to get anything decent unless you give your notice.

i managed to get this deal near the end of November. I just called up and told them i want to leave and they gave my PAC code. They then called back the same day and offered this but on the 4gb Max plan

Tesco do 5k mins 5k txt 12gb data for £17.50 month, which is best for me as EE, 3 etc all have intermittent signal where I live.

I'm on £5 unlimited max 4g data unlimited texts and calls and they threw in a Ferrari ! Beat that for retentions !

Thank you so much, they agreed to this deal once I mentioned it to them.

I paid £1 more than this but a nice monthly saving. Cheers for reminding me to call OP
