There is also a potential of £15 cashback from Quidco providing it pays out. Also might be useful to put in the title that its Mobiles.co.uk.
Hot - Cash back with these guys is simple and reliable. It's all online - every few months just download your bill as a pdf from Vodafone and then upload it to Mobiles.co.uk . A few weeks later you get a cheque.

Oh, and don't forget roaming will be free in Europe from the 15th June so no point in paying extra for roaming, unless you need it before June 15th or you;re traveling outside Europe

...It's a no brainer!

Try selling that to the punters who are still waiting for their phones4u redemption cashback.
Great deal.
I've been on a redemption scheme with e2save since September with a very similar Vodafone plan (and cost) to this and the cashback has gone really smoothly. I'll be looking for a replacement plan this Sept. Net cost was £7.30 pm, but no Quidco.
hey good deal but could have been better.
i am on a similar deal i pay £20 after cash back it will cost £8
but i get 20gb net , unlimited text and calls.

hey with voda. got the deal few months ago from e2save.
I'm with Vodafone for 2nd year and I've got:

UNLIMITED MINS
UNLIMITED TXTS
8GB INTERNET
EU ROMING
£8 / MONTH (12 months contract)

£8 a month from Vodafone direct at end of first year starting into my second year as my previous plan was same but 3GB internet which I said is less then renewed at same price £8:month with 8GB internet and unlimited mins & text

Best time to get a contract is Christmas so when's they renew each year they apply bigger discounts

No cash back
No headache
BEST SIGNAL
BEST NETWORK

O2 & VODAFONE SIGNAL IS THE BEST FULL EVERYWHERE YOU GO

3G & VIRGIN & EE & T-MOBILE & ANYTHING LINKED TO THESE NETWORKS IS THE WORST SIGNAL EVER ALWAYS LOW AND NO CONECTIVITY WITH BAD EXPERIENCE

I ordered a sim from e2save yesterday and quidco still hasnt tracked

It can take a week sometimes. People have not patience whatsoever these days! If it doesn't track within 5 seconds it's a disaster!
i rather go with the deal that id are doing with 5gb data 500 min and 5000 texts for £10 with data rollover

cause cash back one these are not always guranteed
can someone confirm if this is Vodafone red extra plan?
finally it shows now on their website that it is. So you get roaming straight away. and it is not only calling as if you were in the UK (as with three). You can actually call any of those included countries for free out of your allowance whilst you r in any of them but not whilst u r in the UK (as that would not be roaming, but international calling). This will be my second red extra number.
but then after reading this bellow

Other info
All our prices include VAT at the current rate.

Your inclusive minutes, texts and data are valid for UK only and also may not apply for premium and non-geographic numbers. If you are using your mobile abroad different charges will apply to the above. Please visit the network website for more details.

seems like no roaming included. not sure what to make of that as Red Extra should include roaming
I contacted Orange directly when my phones4u contract was running as I too had outstanding cashback by redemption. They asked me how much I told them they credited my bill the full amount the following month and let me lower my tariff from 35pm to 18pm. Ended up being the best deal ever for galaxy s5 with free headphones too, year gourmet society etc

I was tempted, but what put me off is the lack of transparency about out-of-bundle costs. When I clicked the info symbol, then clicked Other info, I got the text below.

A link sending me to the EE website to tell me what the costs are on a Vodafone contract isn't award-winning helpfulness. It does not inspire confidence.

Agree but on the other hand. It comes with unlimited calls and txt
So how does this work you pay the 17 a month and then claim back after the year or do you only pay 8 each month

As I'm typing this in the middle of nowhere on my EE phone I'd tend to disagree. The wife and kids have had no signal all weekend on Vodafone so your experience isn't set in stone, happens all over the country.

Your point about Christmas contracts is simply incorrect. Apart from any other reason why would they chase customers with discounts at their busiest time of year?

With all that money you saved you could buy a new keyboard, looks like your Caps Lock is goosed.
Did anyone take this offer?
An alternative deal is the £25 per month one, discounted to £13 after cashback that comes with 25gb of data (that can be used abroad) and Spotify for 12 months. I much rather pay the extra fiver a month for that.

I wouldn't say vodafone signal is rubbish but I've been on ID for about 2 years now, who use 3 network, and it's been as good as or better than the Mrs O2 signal. I know some people moan about IDs cs, but from my experience they've been great and far and away better than vodafone, and so is their app.
Just signed up to the £25pm deal that comes with a spotify subscription included ( whole thing £13pm after cashback applied). Seems like good value and better than the title (8gb one) provided the coverage doesnt suck in the 2 city centers I work from, but even if it does they offer a 30 day money back guarantee. Figured what the heck, lets see how it plays out!

Data can be used abroad for all the plans, including the 8GB plan. Like most networks they made the change just prior to the EU deadline next month. It was on the older plans (up until a few months ago) that some had EU roaming data and some didn't, but even those legacy users will have their terms changed after next month.

Thats not referring to roaming, it's referring to normal use within the UK. In other words when you're in the UK (not roaming) you're inclusive minutes/texts can be used to call UK numbers only, excluding non-geographic numbers.

This part tells you how to check roaming allowances/costs. On there website you'll see (like all other networks from June) you can take your inclusive minutes to the EU. They also include a few other countries and cover calls to the entire EU whilst roaming. And then theres global roaming, which gives you free incoming, but £5/day charge if you make a call or use data.

Hope that helps.

Better of using Quidco, currently £15 against £10.10 for TCB. And it works the same as any other cashback, click through to site via Quidco/TCB and order your SIM.

I checked the cashback for Quidco which is £10 for all 12 month SIM only deals on Vodafone but with TCB it's £10.50
I'm I correct to say that TCB are offering £0.50 more compared to Quidco or am I missing something?

Which plan was that for £13 after cashback with Spotify as I heard about it but they didn't sell it as 'having Spotify' from what I'd seen so I did want to check first with someone who has it.

It's OK. I'm very new to this.
How does the upgrade work on mobiles.co.uk when the 12 month SIMO deal ends? Would I have to buy another line or can you just keep your number with the network you're on?

Vodafone have a habit of changing the tariffs all the time I have the 20gb with Spotify but that no longer exists but will probably come back when it goes back to full price

They are just a broker. Same as signing up through Carphone Warehouse/etc.

Your contract is with Vodafone direct. At the end of the minimum term you have 4 options:

1) Do nothing and your contract will continue on a rolling 30 day basis at the current cost (aside from any RPI increase). Unless prices had shot up, I doubt this would be the best route.

2) Speak to Vodafone retentions (or they will likely call you before your minimum term ends) and get the best deal on offer. Last time around I did this as there was only a quid difference (and extra data which I wouldn't use anyway) between Vodafones offer and the best third party deal (which involved the hassle of cashback).

3) Go to another Network (either directly or via a deal like this from a broker), Get your PAC from Vodafone so you can keep your number.

4) If you want to stay with Vodafone but go through a broker like mobile.co.uk as they offer a better deal, technically you can't keep your number as Vodafone don't permit internal porting. However, you can get your PAC, port to a pay go on another network, then port back to your new contract bought from the broker (you need to port in within 30 days I believe on Vodafone, but I'm sure you'd want to port to your new contract within days anyway). This is the route I'm currently taking as Vodafones offer was pretty poor.
You can always convert your pay monthly contract to pay as you go with Vodafone in the last month of your 12 month contract and as soon as it becomes pay as you go ( usually between 24~48hrs) port your number to the new Vodafone pay monthly SIM. The whole process takes between 3~5 days and you can retain your Vodafone number all the way through.

Thank you so much for this!
I'm currently on 20GB plan with EE for £21/month, but now that I've seen this deal with Vodafone I can get the same plan for £10/month (after cashback) which is great

Does this definitely work, as my 20gb deal will be coming to an end soon. And I will be getting another one of these cashback deals
