Just been to my local Tesco - they had a shelf end with all the simoniz car cleaning products reduced to only £1.25 each.
They have the prices marked down from £6 each.
I bought the 3 layer car shampoo, back to black, wheel cleaner & Bug spray. Theres lots of other items available.
They are showing on Tesco website £2.50. Halfords website shows these products £4.99 (3 for 2)
Good price for top quality products.

Where is your local Tesco?
Anyone know if this is store specific or not?

would rather pay more and use auto glym.

still voted hot for those who occasionally clean their car.

The Bug shifter is anAutoExpress best buy & actualy beats the Autoglym stuff, good price for those that can find it.

Sorry, I just voted cold by accident!

My Local store is Newry

This stuff is cheap and nasty at the best of times in my own opinion.

Autoglym really lasts and for off the shelf / most car owners is spot on.

Autoglym is pretty much constantly on offer at halfrauds. In life you get what you pay for (thinking about tesco value beef/horse burgers LOL)

do you think if you say autoglym you will get a free bottle ?

anyways voted hot specifically because its not autoglym

Some of the simoniz range is ok so can't knock it if it's all items at £1.25

Will check Banbridge store tomorrow, heat added

Great stuff, I believe the whole range is getting new packaging so they are probably selling off all the old stuff.

What else is good? I mix and match my stuff to get the best I like. Meguiars Tyre gel is the bees, Bilt Hamber balm and the clay and the shampoo owns, Autoglym leather cleaner I like.

Trade secret, use olive oil on your plastic bumpers to regain shine and colour. It lasts for weeks and is water repellant. I use nothing else!

thanks I'll pop in after work. heat.

use the quick detailing wax as a lube for the clay mitt from halfords @ 12.99, 3 for 2 at halfords. finish is like glass!

"Autoglym" - because some men just want to watch the world burn

Did they have Simoniz original wax. That stuffs a great wax at a really affordable price, you just have to make sure you have weetabix for breakfast before applying it.

Then you misunderstand the nature of the forum and you have wasted a vote and people's time. People might be trying to steer people away from this product as it really is that bad. The interior sprays use to contain alcohols that bleached the interior plastics to a white/faded colour. The interior upholstery cleaner I found would cause colours to run. The external bodywork shampoos etc lacked sufficient lubrication and caused swirl marks and finally the alloy wheel cleaner contained acid based cleaners so strong that it would strip the alloy coating/lacquer and make your alloys look an eyesore.

So HORNETSAM why don't you buzz off!

Thanks Burdybabe. I like the Tyre shine spray and also the Instant wax that I use after every wash (in between a proper wax). I will pop into my local on the way home

worth a look in my local Tesco tonight when its quiet! Less chance of catching grumpitus !

No deals on at my local superstore

does anyone know if there is a cheap alternative to T-Cut from Simoniz

still original price at my local tesco

I need some back to black stuff for my plastic bumpers (which are now grey!). Recommendations?

Autoglym bumper and trim gel. Great stuff. Keeps black plastic looking good for ages and you don't need to use loads of it. Avoid Simoniz stuff at all costs, it's cheap and nasty.

Simoniz shampoo is simply unbeatable, much better than any others, especially over priced autogylm. Also got some Simoniz products in Halfords recently and they were really good. Products are good and i haved used several brands. Not on offer in my local Tesco though !

Hello. The bug shifter is great, the shampoo is unbeatable in my humble opinion and their waxes are great especially the original tin. Its hard work but nothing like it. Somebody was talking about a new wheel cleaner simoniz have just brought out when at the grand prix, said was the nuts! Mequiers tyre gel is worth a try and simoniz tyre shine not bad and cheaper alternative.

I actually find the Bilt Hamber autowash to be the best around. Killer reviews, only need a tiny amount and huge lubrication. I always try and tell people to see if they try others and like those

Not in bournemouth hey aren't

I wouldn't recommend using tcut or wonder wheels, both harsh and damaging products = tcut strips the car of lacquer and paint and wonder wheels contains acid which will destroy your wheels
