I have a more expensive drill (18v etc) but that isn't a hammer drill, so even though this is cheap and only 14.4v, it might do that job (and little else), for internal wall holes. Certainly a bargain at that price.
I bought one. The only issue is that its a single speed gearbox It does have a variable speed trigger though..
This means it has less torque for screwdriving or other low speed uses compared to drills with a 2-speed gearbox. It should be fine for most uses though.

Its certainly much better than old Nimh battery drills that always have a flat battery when you need a drill.
15nm not great but come on...its £12.50!!!!!!

so I first gear for drill and 2 gear for walls
Thanks all 3 batteries are dead on my Makita, and I have an impact driver this will do the job nicely.
Buy two so you have a spare battery.
I picked mine up on Sunday - Excellent to keep handy, or for the caravan steadies:-)

Bought one today and done a cctv job with it and also bought the extended warranty for £2.59 for 3 years ( Including accidental damage ) works perfectly fine for the uses I'll have for it .... although in2 years and 9 months I may accidentally drop it and claim for a new one ....Whatever model that may be.
