A kw of electric used for an hour costs around 16p ish. Therefore 2 kw of electricity used for one hour will cost 32p ish. The fan heater is 2kw but won’t be running for the full hour as it has a thermostat to switch it on and off once the room is warm, unless you leave your windows open in mid winter 🥶.

Well that depends on how cold it is and how large your room is and how well-insulated it is and what temperature you want your room at...

Indeed it does, which is why I mentioned the thermostat and that it probably won’t be running for the entire hour.
Not really suitable for a garage then to prevent dampness, i don’t want a hefty bill from heating a garage just something to take the edge off when it’s chilly to save tools and fabrics from rust/mould. I plan to pair whatever heater with a smart plug too
