I bought a similar one from Wilko. I think it is always £2 in Wilko.

£1 each in IKEA if you have one close by

That's a lot of clock for not a lot of money.

It's showing the wrong time mate. It's 5.11pm as I post.

Does the clock come with batteries cause the batteries will cost more than the clock

I misread that for a second.....;)

got this the last time it was on offer for £2 still working about 2 years old.

Great price

Damn I paid £3 for mine

I have one of these. Keeps perfect time but beware, it has a very loud tick.

I second this.

Useful for like a garage or shed or something, but if you put it in your bedroom or kitchen or living room you will be driven mad.

I could only find them for £1.50 each:
m.ikea.com/gb/…89/
But that's still 50p cheaper...

Sorry, hyperlink didn't work...Try this one.

oh I give up....!!!! Just ask the staff in ikea. :-)

Personally, I would rather pay slightly more and get one that is quieter or silent. The loud ticking would sound even louder when a room is quiet, so will keep you up, if you're trying to sleep if it was in your bedroom. I was actually thinking that might be the reason why they're being sold off this cheap. Thanks for the confirmation Tim2011.

cheapo clock

we bought one to help teach daughter the time cheaper then most wooden training clocks and has all the numbers shown. so not roman numerals or just sticks .

I believe you will have better value for money by buying clocks from amazon warehouse deals. it costs a bit more (£2-7 ish) but it lasts longer, looks nicer, and you might get some nice features e.g. silent clock.

must have bought it at the wrong time then

do they do it on tick?

Much prefer quieter clocks with sweeping hands but they seem to cost quite a fair bit.

Same here, have had one for years..can't remember for how long now, but it keeps good time and as you say, it has a loud tick. Probably uses the same movement from China found in much more expensive clocks.

You can get a pack of batteries to fit this from wilko's for 50p. Therefore you don't have to spend more on batteries than you did on the clock

In my lifetime I or my friends etc. have had several electric clocks like this or posher and never did they have a tick, or even a tock so these must be unique.
By the way it's about time this deal came around.
