Good bin, I've had one in my kitchen for 7 years; it's used for recycling so I can make the expensive liners last for over a month. Beware that the lid opens very high, so not great for storing under a worktop.
Just checked this out, looks nice enough, but original price £25 according to the Dunelm Mill site, and reserve and collect only

Out of stock in most of Yorkshire/Derbyshire. Available Bradford.
That's a lot of used sanitary products!
Great bin! Was going to buy another however very little stock and none near me
Have it and love it. Bin bags expensive but super duper strong

Can't you just use generic 40 L bin bags?

Yes, but it’s hit and miss. I’ve had mine for years and got fed up with the bag palaver. With all the recycling, having recently bought these, I’ve realised I use probably 1 bag per month. This pack will last me forever!
This is also pet proof, but after about 12 months you will have to tighten the handle. Heat added.
Fudge. I bought this for £35 last month. Great tho!
Just buy a cheap plastic bin from, say, Wilkinsons , chuck it in your kitchen, empty it into the large recycling bin when full, job done. Give it a rinse once in a while....
Why just a recycle bin had ours for a year in kitchen for rubbish, use Icelands purple bags 20 for a pound.
Had this bin but returned it 2 days later. While it is well made and very functional, they make their money by charging you more than necessary on the bin liners which are tailor made for the shape of this bin. Regular liners wont fit.

Do you mean for the narrow bit at the bottom? Could you not use 50 L bags instead. Was thinking about getitng one of these but not if it means buying expensive bags

No I mean a regular bin liner wont fit around the lip of the top. Shame as the bin itself is well made, the pedal mechanism especially is strong (usually a weak point in pedal bins) but I'm didn't realise I had to buy specific bags in size 'K' iirc, so I returned it and bought a regular 30l cylinder pedal bin
