Hi,

T-Mobile have changed their 6 months internet booster to include any payg phone. I got a Vivacity at Christmas on the same deal which I only topped up with £10 once and I've been able to use it for internet browsing and mobile radio since. Unfortunately time is running out on that deal and I was disappointed to see they now only advertise 1 month free. After further investigation I found the following in the T&C's:-

'Internet Booster 6 months:
If you're a pay as you go customer with an internet capable phone, you can get 6 months of internet in the UK by texting 6MONTHWEB to 441. You'll need to have enough top-up credit on your account as the cost of the Booster comes out of your credit.

We'll send you a text to let you know when your booster is ready to use and your Booster will start from then. We'll also let you know by a text when your 6 months internet is up.

Once your booster has run out you'll then be charged up to £1 a day to browse the internet, or you can buy another booster. See the legal stuff and fair use policy at t-mobile.co.uk/fup.

Remember that your Booster has been paid for up front and that you won’t be entitled to a refund if you stop using it before it expires. You'll need a compatible phone and internet coverage, check it at t-mobile.co.uk/str…eck. Remember that you can only use internet on your phone in the UK and you can't use your phone as a modem or use internet on your phone for peer to peer file sharing or making internet phone calls.

If you're on our Talk, Text, International or Everyday plans, you'll have a fair use policy of 500MB a calendar month. If you're on any other pay as you go plan, you'll have a fair use policy of 40MB a day. We'll monitor how much you send and receive each calendar month so that we can protect our network for all our customers. If you use more than your fair use policy amount, we won't charge you any more, but we may restrict how you can use internet on your phone.'

I had a word with customer services who confirmed this is correct. AND Don't forget you get up to £35 cashback on the phone through quidco.

Don't forget Topcashback will pay up to £45.45 cash back and don't charge Quidco's ripoff £5 fee

I'm sorry but the OP's information shows no sign of being correct.

It is and has been for at least the last 2 years, £20 for 6MONTHWEB.

"30 day Internet Booster £5 30 days of internet on your phone Text MONTHWEB to 441
6 month Internet Booster £20 6 months of internet on your phone Text 6MONTHWEB to 441"

Yeah it's £20 for 6 month. still good if you basically just use the phone for data though and are not in a contract.

so does this give you unlimited data for 6 months?

This page backs up zaphodbb, this deal is imaginary. And yet still the idiots keep voting hot.

The confusion relates to the fact that some phones were originally supplied with 6 months' FREE internet as standard, hence someone wrongly thinking that they got their 6 months' internet access with a £10 topup. (Which they didn't.)
