A very nice single malt (chill filtered though). Generally around the low - mid £50s with Amazon, this is the cheapest I've ever seen it (unless I missed a lightning deal)

Description and tasting notes:
A delicious 18 year old Speyside malt from the Duff town distillery, the Singleton exudes oodles of creamy, malty flavour. This complex and mature single malt has deep amber appearance with most attractive and good texture. Perfect balance between soft, ripe apple and blackberry fruit and spicy dryness. Soft, inviting, dry and autumnal nose. Light to medium body, softly coating the tongue.

Features & details
  • Deep amber appearance with most attractive and good texture
  • Soft, inviting, dry and autumnal nose
  • Light to medium body, softly coating the tongue
  • Firm to full palate
  • Deeper hint of almond biscuit

-72 (and counting). I give up.
I am confused why are people all voting this cold?

The Singleton Dufftown is a very nice tasting NAS whisky that people say is nice even though its NAS and worth £20. This one has an age statement; 18 years no less and for £49 for an 18 year old whisky is a bargain as its around half the price of other 18 year old whiskies.

And if this is a step up from the Dufftown due to the Age statement and 18 years in the cask, it should be nice.
Looking at CamelCamelCamel its fhe cheapest price it has ever been, every review on Amazon is 5 stars. It received the Gold Award at the Whisky Masters Ceremony

And this review the guy loved it.

I have just ordered a bottle from Amazon, its due to be delivered on my Prime delivery day next Wednesday. Will post back how it is.

£49 for an 18 year old non blended whisky, it sounds a steal to be honest.

I think he is drinking a slightly different version of the 18 (for the international/travel market) as the one he has was bottled at 43%, whereas this one is 40%.
Still nobody is explaining or justifying why they're voting this cold.

I appreciate the deal even though nobody else does as I never would have found this without this post.

I think this is a great deal.
