Shame she doesn’t get one
I work at subway and here is the best deal.

Want a cheap steak sub for example?

Go in before 11, order a bacon breakfast and ask for the steak as a extra.

Also if you ever use your points to get a free drink, always ask for a large it's the same point value as a regular.

That’s an awesome find OP and I was staggered by the amount of subway stores on the list! that’s some franchise business
I've always found it amusing how the spicy italian costs more than the italian BMT when that has the same ingredients PLUS ham.

This offer finally makes it the cheaper sandwich

Yes the BMT does include ham but also includes less pepperoni and salami than what you get in the spicy Italian.

Would offer heat, but don't subway charge for heat now
normally costs £3.59??
does anyone pay that for any six inch sub?

normal price around here is £2.50
Normally costs £2.50 in my local subway, don't know where the £3.49 came from. Still a 50p saving i suppose

If i said to you if you want halal go to a muslim country it would be "racist" or "insentive" but youre allowed to tell us not to go there.

Yup.

Not necessarily the same thing though. There are so many non halal options here you cant complain about the few of them.

Just a quick search on google and I found this price. But yes it could be cheaper in different parts of country or when stores are running £3 meal deals.

But what difference does it make to anyone if it is halal or not? I personally don't care... But I was vegetarian in the late 80s when cheese had animal rennet in it and had to buy special vegetarian cheese. You'll notice you don't find "Vegetarian Cheese" anywhere now because everyone realised the vegetarian version tasted exactly the same so now most cheese is vegetarian. I don't think the non-vegetarians complain... Guess my point is, if it tastes the same (and you don't object to how it is prepared), why do you even care?

EDIT: No longer a veggie tho, so will definitely be partaking. Thanks.

The breakfasts have never been great even going back to when they first introduced them, they seemed microwaved even then and made a McDonalds breakfast seem quite good!

I don't suppose you've ever tried running your own fast food business then! You have to sell a lot of £2 subs to cover your costs, let alone make profit.
This seem to happen nearly every time re fastfood/takeaway deal.

Someone ask if it is halal, maybe for themselves or their friends/family.
Then someone else makes a comment about it because they have something against halal meat or think there is global halal conspiracy (really? )

Subway does have halal shops, and thus sells halal subs. It's not a big secret conspiracy.
As other have typed before, no one is forcing anyone to buy a sub. I find most hukd users don't care, it's still meat.

The halal market is worth something like £2 billion+ & growing in the UK alone the last time I looked into it.
So it make sense for more & more companies to jump in.

I have no issue at all with halal food and would never pick a place based on if it was or wasn't halal. However I have to ask (and maybe its my stupidity) but how can ham or salami ever be halal? They are both pork products. Also why is it referred to as halal but never kosher?

Don't worry, you're not stupid for asking.
Takeaways have been known to use Turkey to replace ham/bacon/salami as it is a cheaper meat and it's rebranded as
"Turkey Beef" or something like that.

As why it is ref to halal, it's a more of a marketing thing as it is growing market.
I know Tesco and I think ASDA, do appeal to the different faiths during their celebrations.

"The animal may be stunned prior to having its throat cut. The UK Food Standards Agency figures from 2011 suggest that 84% of cattle, 81% of sheep and 88% of chickens slaughtered for halal meat were stunned before they died."

What are you talking about?
Can you get the foot long for £3.98 during this time?
