"YouTube real world reviews" lol, by Youtubers who all have a commission link where you can buy the product, often have adverts on their videos, get sent the product to review often for free, and are monetised by YouTube.
But they are much more trustworthy that Tech radar, lol.
OK bro.

I understand Skagen are made by Fossil.

Not sure which Gen that makes this, but Fossil have just announced a new Skagen based on the Gen5 Fossil platform.
Looks nice but underpowered chip and very poor battery "Expect just under a day of usage assuming a mixture of GPS tracking, heart rate monitoring, and other daily activities. Obviously, your mileage will vary but unless you hardly use the watch, you'll need to charge this up every evening."

according to google translate, it means nothing (skagen = skagen) funny considering it's not that dissimilar to Swedish.

I have a Falster 2, got everything turned on except tilt to wake, I get over 24 hours of battery life.

Performance is also completely fine, watch wakes up instantly, takes 1-2 seconds to load up Google Pay from pressing the shortcut button.

You charge it every night? Or does the battery last two full days?

I get about 30 hours battery, and charge it as and when is needed.
Does it have a speaker for calls?
Woah, that's a cracking price.
As someone said, probs cos the Falster 3 is about to drop. But still this a good price for the gear imo
older specs and chips but believe it has GPS and NFC for Google Pay so seems pretty reasonable

Same price on Amazon with blue strap. 3 left as I've just bought one. Thanks for the heads up. Couldn't justify the price of the falster 3.

The manufacturers link in the OP even states 24 hour battery life.

Was that this one?

Also checked out Amazon and noticed the Blue strap had a "Rose Gold" watch body and "Women's Standard" strap length.
4 year old chipset
I also worry when I see a price drop like this that it won't be long until I see it dropped from support or rendered useless 6 months after purchase.

Yeah. On the skagen website it's also rose gold. I'll check it when it comes and send back if no good. Worth it for Amazon warranty. According to trustpilot, skagen is very poor so was concerned about returns

Who am I supposed to trust then?
Skagen returns are OK, just not quick. May take a month for your money to returned, but it will get there
There are other versions available on the site too, Falster 2 with silicon straps. This navy one isn't the only one in the sale.

If i'm wrong, so be it... but so is Google translate then. It's not "ignorant" to use a translator

They're no iffier than most other review sites. If you're not paying for access to the site then the company will be making money off affiliate links, related adverts and the like. If anything, TechRadar might just be more open about it than some.

This practice doesn't mean they're biased at all, but even if it did, it's basically impossible to avoid - again, unless you're paying for access, like on Which. Most rival sites carry the same risks, as do YouTubers, and user reviews are typically even iffier, because people often either have weird biases or just don't know what they're talking about. Best practice is to read as many opinions as you can, both professional and otherwise.

I am sure this was 45 quid before Christmas and I just missed out. I will wait till it comes down a bit more. Still good heat added.
Nice looking watch. Does this work with Strava for running/cycling and upload heart rate data for the activities? Been considering the Garmin Vivoactive 3 but this is a little cheaper, no issue charging it daily when I get to the office.
Was quite tempted by this until I saw this review, which is titled "is the Skagen 2 worth it in late 2019".

Seems pretty balanced and he wants to like it, but the lag and battery life are deal breakers.

Love how the Falster series look. I bit the bullet and went for the Skagen Falster 3 recently (mostly for the better battery and performance) and I'm a big fan. This is substantially less though and good value for money
