Look at the reviews, looks great but not very functional as a smart watch. No NFC. No GPS. No heart rate monitor. You can get more for the same money. Falster 2 is nicer looking imho and is "smarter" with NFC and GPS and heart rate monitoring. It is twice the price but worth waiting imho until it drops in price if on a budget.
There isn't any information show on the screen, the hands move however but it doesn't have a panel.
you were born in 1986 and their first console was an xbox 360, to give you perspective of their maturity :P
It's not being snobby, it's knowing value. And why would you call someone you've never met a b####d based on one comment they have made expressing their opinion. Take a good hard look at yourself.
I expired this deal as everyone was voting cold. Now it’s been unexpired? And it’s on -8!
There's this nice Skagen on TK Maxx at the moment, only 4 left, £69.99. https://www.tkmaxx.com/men/accessories/watches+jewellery/watches/rose-gold-tone+black-signature-watch/p/76064345
Thanks. Have updated it. Thought it was okay as was .co.uk
Nice one OP. Update link to uk site https://www.skagen.com/en-gb please.
Thanks yes it might help lol :D
Good looking watch thanks OP
works for me but after I signed up to an account and not just for the newsletter.
Exactly the same for me
Worked for me also
just ordered Hagen Titanium and Tan Leather for £48.30 ... many thanks poster . (highfive)
I've gone for one too - with 15% off and cashback it seems even more of a steal. Not sure if I'll think it's too big for my female wrist but I love Skagen watches so doesn't take me much be persuaded...
Current owners, could you explain a little how this watch shows your notifications? *edit* I mean, I guess I'll find out myself cos itchy fingers have made me go buy it anyway...
Hah! It’s not as chunky in real life as I feared.
Ah, Me too. Forgot I also used Quidco. 8) Hell of a lot of watch for the money. A little on the chunky side, but who isn't at my age. (y)
Two other styles available as well at the same price (although the email code doesn't work). Been this price for a while but still voted hot. I have the dark brown strap version and have found it to be brilliant. Hot
You can try the code I received and used 498550
Newsletter code working again. I think they had a bug on their system. Request again as you did before. Don't forget to activate the link from the first email and wait for the second.
Code publish on another thread does not work and subscription emails are not being sent.
Anyone have the 15% off code? Thanks
Everyone has different needs. I was looking for hybrid watch. :)
You sign up for newsletter, it asks you to confirm email address, press the button and then you get another email with the code.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong - but when I click through it just comes up at £69 still. When should I be able to see the discount?
Have to click button to confirm address in first email
I can't seem to get the savings? Am i meant to get a promo code with the email?
just updated my phone to Android 9 and the watch won't pair anymore. It recognizes it just won't pair. Anyone had similar problems?
It doesn’t need charging. It’s user replaceable. Just take out the old one and pop a new one in. I’ve had my watch a month. It’s showing 70% battery remaining. Got 10 batteries on eBay for £2.95.
Another day and it's now showing 76%?!!!
75% today. That’s weird. I guess it’s not as accurate as I thought.
Two weeks in and my battery is now on 74%. I've discovered that in iPhone you can see the exact battery left on connected devices. In Skagen connected app it shows as 50% on the little graphic so I think it's just that the graphic is either full, half or empty. 74% after two weeks I feel quite ok with. Not sure what it started at, but absolute worst case scenario I should get at least 8 weeks from a full battery. They're so cheap anyway. I managed to get 10 for £2.95 on ebay, although the seller has since sold out. Looking today you can get 5 for £2ish.
Very nice looking. I can't see myself benefiting from the smart functionality. How do you find it OP?
Only fair to Skagen to give you an update...Watch was found hidden under some things in the garage. It had been delivered by UPS with no note through door as to where it was. Skagen told me that UPS delivery note said it had been signed for by Mr Garrage!
Skagen is a Fossil Watch brand now, along with the likes of DKNY, Armani, Diesel, Adidas etc. I guess they have been a bit inundated. Hope you get it soon
Still not delivered and now not replying to any emails as to the whereabouts of my order. I'll never use this company again.
Yup agree, just needs to be done on the proper website rather than the mobile version.
Brilliant deal...30% off a sale item...daughter's birthday sorted :D
Luckily its out of stock. I couldnt have resisted buying another watch:-)
It's a damn pretty watch imo it's classy as all hell
Now that's a handsome watch. Have some heat. Update: may be out of stock. Error message when I add it the bag.
its a gents watch aye
Some nice watches on there, ordered a couple - cheers
Attractive watches, but no I mustn't! I love watches but recently had my trusty 45 year old Rado serviced so although hot, I'm not biting this deal!
Nice watches, but these particular ones as slim as a normal Skagen watch. Still a great price though! Heat.
I've worn one for a couple of years with no issues (on and off daily) so YMMV.
I love Skagen watches and have had a few. I lost my last one on a drunk night out. The metal strap clasp will not fasten as securely over time if like me you take your watch on/ off on a daily basis. I'd personally go with the leather strap one.
Agreed. Very attractive slim watches.
I just changed the battery on a Skagen watch this evening. Fantastic looking watch from the outside. Very average looking movement on the inside. Has a cheap looking plastic frame surrounding the Japanese (?) movement. To be fair, most watches under £200 are probably like this. Also, having changed the battery, I discovered that the movement is actually stuck/broken. It looks like the day/date mechanism has gone wrong, which causes the watch hands to stop around 4 AM. In my efforts to free things up, the crown has now come off.
If you like the concept of this check out the elefone w2 very similar concept for about a third of the price
That is a really nice looking watch, I've want to put a different strap on it but I am tempted.
not the best reviews
Thanks. I have corrected
Also, I believe the code is SALE20
Where do I enter the code. It takes me straight to payment
This doesn't work anymore?
So I am correct that I am wrong? That's what I thought as well.
You are correct you are wrong.
Are Skagen not only famous for ladies watches? I might be wrong.
is it not 86.60 with postage
I can't say that I've had any problems at all with the Skagen watches i've bought. I have 3 of them. Mind you I haven't purchased one recently. The last one I got must have been at least 1.5 - 2 years ago. All three of the watches I have, have leather straps and they're still going on strong. It's a shame to hear the bad reviews on them now as I have seen another two that I really like.
Indeed they were great watches, but beware of the mesh stainless steel wrist piece as if you wear fine garments, they will become snagged! I've ruined several blouses and scarves before I realised what was causing it! I tried to take mine back to Samuels where I got mine from, but they said technically there was nothing wrong with the watch and they would have warned about the mesh bracelet etc... They are a great thin watch and that's what appeals to some folk. Great deals on other styles too. Just enter watches in search field, low to high price etc. Heat added ;-) ,
Not had a Skagen or know much about them but that did surprise me (as have the above tales) with them being so thin. What were the signs you looked for?
I have commented previously on Skagen watches. I bought two when they first hit the market. I had the first battery replaced by a Jeweller. When the second watch needed the battery replaced I did it myself. I was gobsmacked to see how cheap these are inside. A cheap Japanese Quartz that would sit well in a £10.00 watch. Overpriced, never again!
Skagen watches are really good but their leather straps are rubbish and very expensive to replace (I was quoted more than the watch cost in the first place). Buy a watch with a mesh strap and you won't have any problems.
