Sketchley Grange actually ( NOT LANE! } and you have to congratulate the photographer on a deception job well done. Don't bother folks, you actually drive through the middle of a council housing estate to reach this hotel and there is nothing to do whatsoever in the local area, trust me I live in the mansion next door!

Wow
I lived round the corner from this hotel and stayed here during renovations and the hotel was great but the food was overpriced. And unless its changed massively, I dont remember having to go through a "council estate". Yes its in a residential area but Im sure its 80-90s smart semis.
be careful with this....the gym/pool is lawless really scary and guests like to set the fire alarms off in the middle of the night its rough really rough....the changing rooms are filthy and the staff useless

Blimey, council estates have changed since I was brought up on a London overspill estate in the early 60s. goo.gl/map…vE2

I'm local, why would you lie like this?

There's an ex-council estate nearby, it's now mixed ownership. It's probably about half a mile away. The place itself is definitely surrounded by middle class properties. You certainly do not have to drive through a council estate to get to it. That is a straight up lie folks.

We stayed on a Groupon offer (or similar) some years ago - as on face of it it looks fantastic. But as been said, in middle of housing estate, absolutely nothing to do or go to nearby - certainly Hinckley, sadly will not impress.
We had issue with noisy room neighbours - although Hotel was virtually empty, late night a couple were given room next to ours; shouting, screaming, smoking. Nothing done when we complained, twice - so we walked out at 3am in morning and returned home!
Also, as mentioned here, remember food being pricey (and nowhere else to go locally to eat).
Came across as a ‘budget’ wedding venue.
I stayed here last week. Nothing wrong with the place, in fact I would say it was quite upmarket. I don't think its a council estate you drive through either LOL, You would'nt get much change from 2 or 300,000.

Many properties £500k + I’d happily live nearby and I only live 10 minutes walk away. Hotel is decent
I too am local and can't for the life of me think of the council estate that you drive through to get to it, if you come from the motorway (which most people will) then you only drive past houses that are approximately £400k+.

My own view is that it is a nice enough place but that the food is over-priced, that shouldn't put anyone off though as the meals are included.
This is a great offer. Stayed here before in this room type but never used spa or pool. I did have to ring the company to get the quoted offer but they honoured it with a £2.50 booking fee.

Thanks for posting!
