Just treated myself to one of these - the rrp is around £50 but Boots sell them for £35, and currently have an offer on that which now makes them £31.50 (with that and the current points offer, a great price!)

Boots describe it as an:

innovative versatile changing bag that keeps all your child's stuff close at hand wherever you go, while keeping all your personal gear safe from wet and messy things.

With it groundbreaking strapping system the Skip Hop Changing Bag quickly and easily goes from your stroller to your shoulder.

Skip Hop Changing Bag Features:-

* Large room main compartment
* Adjustable & removable shoulder Straps
* Waterproof Changing Pads
* Dimnensions: H38*W38*D10 cm

I dont think this is a great offer, as you get a similar and free (well not far off!) changing bag when you join the Boots Parenting club.

I did have the boots club bag but it the lining came apart within 3 months. Also, some idiot decided to use magnets to keep the front pockets closed and the alarm went off everytime I went into Tesco. I think a saving of almost £20 is a good deal if you happen to be interested in this particular bag - your comment is like comparing a well branded TV with some unknown brand.

You wouldn't compare a 1.0 Micra with a Civic Tyre R would you? I have seen one of these Duo bags and the quality is good. You need good quality with changing bags as they are in use every day...

If I was offered a 1.0 Micra for free then I'm afraid I would turn down the Type R!

I am only 3 weeks into fatherhood, but the Boots bag seems to be meeting my requirements so far. Perhaps it will be a different story in 6 months?

IMO, the Boots bag seems sufficient for me but then I have managed to avoid the compelling need to spend money for mony's sake (that seems to befall many a new parent !)
