Skoda Karoq 1.5 TSI SE Tech 24month Lease 10k miles £5441.76 all in

Found 29th Dec 2017
Looks like a decent deal to me, bit new to leases but this seems far better than some of the bigger names lease options.

£2400 up front
£239.99 admin fee
£116.74 a month (24 month option
10K miles

Hope it helps someone

Can drop the initial payment a fair chunk to get a slightly higher monthly if that suits, but for me the attraction is the low cost per month if you have the cash ready

Skip admin fee and go to your local dealer and get the same deal. Mine had no problem matching a deal on here when I got my yeti. Did not even have to point it out to them as it came up in their search. I also ended up getting it for less than I initially agreed as the price dropped slightly before I received it. I doubt these middle men would have passed that on to me.

Great insight. Separately, I struggle to get my yeti out of bed most mornings!

Certainly wasn't the case with my local Seat dealer who point blank refused to budge from his standard price so I went to Drive the Deal instead .

I did the exact same with my Honda Civic. Were able to match the price with no admin fee.

It's Skoda's version of the SEAT Ateca. The Audi Q3 is on an older platform and is due for replacement soon.

Sorry... They don't. I was just indicating Seat wouldnt match any offers.... They are renowned for being very unhelpful though.

Kind of irrelevant to this post then.

Opposite experience here. Flat out refused to even sit down with me to discuss leasing with me at both BMW and VW. "We only really do PCP now".

If those dealers you went too don't do leasing then they ain't going to match a leasing deal. My local Skoda dealer has a guy who only does leasing. It's his dedicated job.
Would prefer less upfront. Yeti due for replacement soon and need a new car for c. £150pcm

You can adjust the down payment to suit.
Is there an option to buy at the end of these lease deals??

No
£20 a month cheaper if a 1 litre engine would suit you.

I phoned up the company I was going to hand back to in advance and bought it from them
This is an excellent find. Getting great reviews.

Audi allow you to, ford don't.

At the time, yes. I paid what they expected to sell it on for at auction or to a dealer.

They aren't obliged to sell you the car but it is sometimes possible at the end of the lease. Skoda Finance seemed more than willing to sell me my Octavia

vwfs.co.uk/en/…tml

The price was similar to comparable cars listed on Autotrader.

It seems to differ between dealerships at the same brand, my brother found a deal on a VW Tiguan online and the local dealership was happy to match it and with no admin fee. From looking at a few threads on here in the past there seems to be certain dealerships that are pro lease and you can just call them to sort it out if your local isn't playing ball.

The DSG looks a good price too

Yep that's a bargain for that engine and gearbox combo.

Not really....I bet my local Seat dealer wouldn't match any internet lease deals either. I was trying to point out (badly) that not all dealers are as accommodating as the Skoda dealer mentioned.

If you have a decent local dealer then certainly try but often most dealers won't match internet deals.
I wonder what's the excess mileage cost?

Similar experience a skoda dealer said there was no way they could match these offers and then surprisingly wouldn't give me a test drive. 🤣
Check out Simpson Skoda.

Most of these are not "internet deals". They are deals being offered by vw group finance and are being sold by online dealers. These deals will show up as soon as a main dealer searches their system. Any main dealer worth their salt, should already be aware of them anyway.

This is likely to be my yeti replacement. Although it's significantly lower spec than my yeti, for similar money.

Most searches through contracthireandleading.com turn up similar deals for a hundred quid more so this is definitely a VW financing offer that everyone has access to. I doubt local dealers will offer close to these terms though unless you are exceptionally good at haggling and they are in a good mood.

It is a great deal though - only paying 24% of the OTR price for 2 years and 20k miles.
NVS usually have high upfront payments compared to many leasers in the market, hence the lower monthly rentals...

I'm on the Passat Alltrack deal that ends in May, I had a Yeti before that - I hope the Karoq can live up to the Yeti.

And me, I've wanted a Kodiaq since I saw it at the Geneva motor show. Mum and dad have the yeti that this is replacing on lease. They need the DSG so will certainly look at this in a few months. Looks like a nice car. Made in the same factory as the Ateca. Incidently it's called a karoq as Skoda are marketing heavily in China and the term yeti has negative image and association in Chinese folklore - or so a Skoda rep told me.

Kodiaq nearly double the price on lease. This is a good deal.
