Skoda...Voted cold.

Can't work out if you are really that stupid or just trying (and failing) to be funny.

because its a SKoda! #Shame

Why are you here then.

Obviously Skoda must be quite attractive to you as you keep posting the same nonsense in Skoda deals.

I get more comments about my current yeti 1.4 l&k than I ever did with my Audi (for clarification was a grand total of zero).

This is Skoda 1100 OHC Coupe from 1959, two years before Jag-E Type.

anyone who still thinks the skoda branda joke really needs to sit in one, the quality of them is better than so many car brands.

Will be looking to replace my yeti with one. Hoping my local dealer has one in the next few weeks so I can get a look and test drive.

Exactly! BargainBros is obviously just a brand snob, do you think he even knows that Skoda is made by the VW and Audi group and many of the engines and parts are shared across all brands under it?

I swapped my Yeti for the Passat Alltrack lease deal on here.
The Yeti was brilliant and I am seriously considering one of these for when the lease ends in May.

Remember, keep reporting the trolls rather than engaging.

This is impressive so far, no tard comments so far. I fear it's all downhill from here though. We'll see.

Reported and comment deleted! Thanks for the tip... don't really need trolls round these parts!

What is the difference between this and the kodiaq?

Aye, that guy on the top has so little to do in his life it's as if he specifically searches for Skoda posts so he can spout some sh*te. Quite sad really. Reported...

I love my yeti. It's very thirsty though. But it's very nippy for its size. And great for overtaking caravans in the Scottish Highlands.

Lease is up in June so need to start looking at replacements.

Kodiak is bigger and more expensive, plus has a 7 seat option

Kodiaq is bigger. Has 7 seat option also. But they look very similar.

The karoq also has the varioflex seating system (which is excellent), and the kodiaq does not. Which is quite surprising.

Miss, miss, the troll is back again!

I’m tempted by one of these next year when my current lease runs out. Don’t think I would ever buy a car of this size with a 1.0 engine. Can’t imagine a long life especially if you went for the 7 seat option.

It’s not underpowered unless you are after the equivalent of a bigger old engines it’s got 115PS , same as a 2ltre diesel has.

Torque is normally the most important figure; diesels may have lower power sometimes but they usually have allot of torque. To enjoy driving a larger car you will need more torque unless you enjoying thrashing the engine in which case yes it will be ok.

Looks good, but doesn't 1 L sound too low for an SUV of this size...?

I have got a Seat Ateca with the 1.0l engine, not had any problems with pulling out of junctions or overtaking on motorways.

Only thing is do not expect to get the mpg claimed, I get around 47mpg which is way off the claimed mpg but is not too bad for a petrol car of this size.

Apologies for what are probably stupid questions, but I don't know much about lease hire...

Would my local Skoda dealer be likely to match this deal (as it looks like a dealer offer), and would I be able to part-ex my current car towards the deposit?

Looks like a lot of car for the money and some good write-ups - cheers OP!

I think you need to check if the SE versions listed at Simpsons have the varioflex seating, i had a quick look and it appears they have std 60/40 split rears, which is a shame if true as it's a major selling point for me.
Anyone know when dealers might start seeing these, also hard to imagine placing an order for something you've not seen or at least sat in.

That looks great, comparable prices to the Seat version, the Alteca when I was looking a few months back. This looks better though. Shame on anyone who turns their nose up at Skoda as a brand.

The current spate of 1-1.2 litre turbo petrols are (very!) roughly equivalent in terms of power output to a non turbo 1.6 from c.10 years ago. So perfectly fine to move a car of this size at moderate pace. Bigger engines are available!
