2 year personal lease deal on 8,000 miles per year for a reasonably well equipped family SUV. There is an initial payment of £1,965.92 followed by 23 monthly payments of £218.44. All cars are brand new.

Besides the very large boot and third row of foldaway seats standard specification includes;-

  • 4 wheel drive
  • 7 speed DSG twin clutch automatic gearbox
  • Choice of 2 different 19 inch alloy wheel designs (Sirius design pictured)
  • Rear LED lights
  • Electrically adjustable, heated and foldable door mirrors with boarding spots
  • Full LED headlights with adaptive front light system and LED daytime running lights
  • Keyless entry and start with motion sensing keys
  • Rear parking sensor
  • 3 spoke leather wrapped multi-function steering wheel
  • Microsuede / leather upholstery with heated front seats
  • Cruise control
  • Columbus 9.2 inch colour touchscreen infotainment system with integrated Wi-Fi, WLAN and DAB
  • Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
  • DVD drive
  • Dual-zone climate control
  • Automatic lights and windscreen wipers
  • Privacy glass
  • Umbrella in drivers and front passengers doors
  • Ice scraper behind fuel filler door

Other leasing benefits include:-

  • Manufacturers warranty included for full term of lease
  • Vehicle tax included for full term of lease
  • Breakdown cover included for full term of lease

This is Skoda's largest SUV offering (not to be confused with the smaller Karoq) and has a list price of £34,855. So for those of you that judge value this way, the cost of lease is a fairly attractive 20% of list price.

In comparison to outright purchase, Drive The Deal are currently offering these for £28,445 and an estimate of its value at 2 years old is somewhere around the £19k to £20k range, so a useful saving by leasing, especially when interest/finance costs are taken into account. Energy Blue (pictured) is the 'free' colour, other paint colours cost extra.

Obviously as has been said many times, leasing doesn't suit everyone*, and i'm sure there will be others that will find something to not like, but nevertheless, lots of space and equipment for the money.

* insurance is not included and you do not get to keep the car after you've made all the monthly payments.

You can't see the outside when you drive it. Perfect to annoy snobs. Even better if it comes in brown.

LOL, just like having my PC light up like some circus attraction - even though the side that would have the window would face the wall.... who cares?!

Lease rate is good given list price of car- I look for a lease which is less than 25% of list price for 2 years. Although mileage is a little low for a diesel.

With regards to the car itself, it comes down to personal choice. It is spacious and doesn't look too bad compared to similar priced 7 seaters.

They have to make them look crap or no one would buy the seat/VW/Audi/Porsche equivalent. Not sure what a PC has do with anything
Had an sel 4x4 dsg at launch on a 2 year lease, it was a very good car, comfortable, refined, well equipped and hugely spacious, would reccomend

Can't comment on the lease deal, but a lovely car this. Had one as a loaner a few weeks back and didn't want to give it back.

It would have to be the latter.

Although the negative synergy of that car in Birmingham...

This looks a great deal, looking at the lease option for my next car, currently on a PCP deal that needs renewing next Mar. In the market for a largish SUV and I'm not a badge snob. These Kodiaqs always rated highly. Only thing for me is don't need 7 seats but would appreciate the large boot minus the two extra seats, not sure if that is possible with a Kodiaq.

Looks like you can do whatever you want with the seats...
"In the seven-seater, the Skoda has a 270-litre capacity with all the seats in use – similar to most superminis – but this increases to between 560 and 765 litres in five-seat form, depending on which position you set the 60:40 split sliding middle seats.

With all seven seats folded there’s 2,005 litres on offer –"

With 7 seats folded it's being used as a storage shed!

I quite like the look of these and I'm an Audi driver
Dunno...ask Auto Express lol...I guess they mean all the seats except the two fronts.

One would imagine that's exactly what the current gov would try to do based on their track record..

I believe that you started it. Regardless, to compare a mere jibe regarding incorrect English usage to a group of individuals responsible for the Holocaust is utterly reprehensible. You've shown your (not you're) true colours. End.

Can't give heat to a lease deal. Dead money
I can’t vote this hot due to total lease cost vs OTR price. As an indication I have a 43k A6 arriving soon with 10kmpa with total lease cost of 7300.
