Not really, it's got a turbo and pushes out 113bhp, with the car only weighing around 1100kg thats not a bad power to weight ratio. Put it this way that engine is pushing out around the same power as a lot of 1.8 litre engines were 20 years ago. For example It would easily keep pace and possibly out perform a 1995 1.8 ford Mondeo
The only problem 1995 mondeo 1.8 will outlast this engine by far

Only if you enhanced it, because from standard the SIerra had less power, less torque and more weight.
