Good price for the Skoda Octavia Estate manual 1.0 TSI SE Technology 5dr on a 2 year lease. Works out at 21.8% of £20.7k P11D value, 8k miles pa, £149.99 per month (6+23) plus £899.94 initial and £150 admin - so £187 net per month. Estimated residual value is £10.5k after 2 years so leasing looks a good option. Price is based on solid paint Energy Blue (Metallic and Pearl paint are cost options of £14 per month). You can add maintenance for a low cost of £7 per month. This is a factory order, with delivery expected end of March/April. In terms of price comparison looks to be nearly £1700+ cheaper than elsewhere.

Specs include Rain and light sensors, Voice control system, Acoustic front and rear parking sensor, Adaptive cruise control, Amundsen satellite navigation system with 8" touch screen, Driver fatigue sensor, Apple Carplay/Android Auto, Auto dimming rear view mirror, Light assistant (coming home/tunnel light), Dual zone automatic air conditioning with humidity sensor and control, 3 spoke multi-function leather steering wheel, Cloth upholstery, Umbrella under front passenger seat, and 16" Velorum alloy wheels.

Clearly many have not driven a modern 1.0tsi. 115bhp isn't amazing but it's more than enough. 20 years ago 115bhp was considered GTI territory.

Does it aye?Maybe down a 25% hill.

10.1 seconds is more than adequate for the type of car this is - that is, a reliable, economical family workhorse. If you're the boy racer type who looks at the 0-60 time before anything else, then this probably isn't the deal for you.
Energy blue if anyone was wondering what it looks like.

Rather decent price in fairness. Hard to say a bad word. I'd bite if DSG was available.

0-60 in 2 1/2 days.
Maintenance for £7... bitey hand time!
1.0 am I seeing things
And, they can stick their paint at £14!
Whilst not knocking the deal or anything, but whats P11D value got to do with a personal lease?

People use it to derive relative value. I.e. 20-25% of P11D/OTR price over 24m with 10k miles is usually an alright deal for a lease.

Not always, but often.

I'm in my second year of leasing the saloon version. It's an excellent car for the money.

But back in the day you had 1.6 or 2 litre of conventionally aspirated medium tune of engine that lasted longer than the bodywork, now it's all about 900-1000cc engines tuned and tweaked with a turbo slapped on the end that for anything more than shopping is going to get expensive beyond 50k if used loaded , the bodywork will still look immaculate though as gone are the days of chicken wire and P38 filler patching up the holes.

What you seem to be forgetting is that cars are far heavier now than they were years ago.

Also it won't feel more than enough when you have it loaded up with fare paying passengers and their luggage when doing an airport run,it will look like a dog wiping it's bum on the grass

I'm pretty sure paint is sprayed on...
Silly question maybe....

Where did you find this deal on their site? It doesn’t let me change the parameters but I also can’t seem to see it if I go on their normal site.

I’m with Leasing Options at the minute and need to swap my car in July so want to keep my eye on good deals!

Cheers, that looks pretty good. It's not a long way from a Trophy Blue MG-ZT I once had.

But cars weigh a lot more these days. Wife's 1.0 manual Fiesta is 125bhp but it's not particularly quick.
What reg is it?

Too small for ownership but yes ok for leasing but steer clear of on the 2nd hand mkt. I have the same car with the 1.5tsi (has the eco 2 cyclinder mode). Its a nice car.

Great value lease deal.

I'm driving that car, that colour, the 1.0 Tsi engine. I got mine last May on a 2 year lease and I absolutely love it, esp the 52mpg I get from it.

I loved my ZT260 V8. My wallet didn't though
Maintenance £7. Why would you need maintenance? Doesn't this have a manufacturer warranty?
Old model now

Yes it does, on the flat.... The saloon is 9.7 seconds 0-60. The 1.0 tsi engine car is 300kg lighter than the 150bhp diesel model. Anyone who hasn't driven a modern 3 pot turbo petrol won't believe how good they are.
