You've got to be trolling surely...

Skoda but built to a higher standard than the rest of the VAG group. Audi, VW and Seat can only dream that their cars were made as well as Skoda's. Come with more as standard, cheaper parts and cheaper price tag to begin with...I could go on...

If only this was an estate would be all over it, imo it's one of the few cars where the estate looks better than the hatch and offers even more practicality. Also would of been nice to see DSG at this price.

I have the vrs 245 and love it. Practicality meets performance on a budget. Not much out there to compare it to. I was lucky enough to get mine for £5400 18 months ago when they were giving them away. Will be sad to see it go come march.

Went for a ride in my mate's 12 month old Golf R recently and it's blistering speed notwithstanding I'd take the interior on the VRS over it any day.

Estate 245 AWD 7spd dsg
Panoramic roof, tow bar
That meterr grey colour or the dragon yellow of the superb
That would be immense

The thing i dont like about these is yes you may get the chance to buy at the end, but if you add even the smallest extra the monthlies go way up

keeping my eyes open for a estate lease or a 2nd hand one popping up local

I've sat in the Golf R and even the standard golfs and they are nothing special.

I like the lovely touch VW added in felt lining in my mates VW 1.6tdi golf. What I also loved was the plush ride compared to the bone shakingly hard ride in my 1.5tdci fiesta titanium. Shame that VW reserved even better ride and suspension parts in their 2.0 litre models exclusively. Hate them for that.

Steering was sharp and no worse than my fiesta on looks of how my mate was welding the car. Really felt the difference in class between my fiesta and his golf.

That said my fiesta doesn't roll as much as the golf did through the corners. Infotainment was unquestionably better on the golf. I'll be a grandpa by the time ford make a good infotainment system.

Never sat in a VRS to make the comparison I'm sad to say.
Nice deal. Could be cheaper, but worthy of 🔥
I’ve just returned my VRS245 early on a previous deal I took on here. Really is a great car, the seats are nice. But it terms of quality I missed the Golf R which I had before, it just felt more solid and so much better planted at speed.

You don't get the option to buy on a pure lease like this PCH ...I think it breaks Tax rules so isn't an option. It has to be PCP to have option to buy.

When my Seat Ateca (which was on PCH from VWFS) went back in February I received a letter saying I could contact British Car Auctions and request a quote to buy the car.

It depends on the finance company behind the PCH, most offer a chance to buy if you ask.

Well based on the opinion expressed just about everyone else probably now has the opinion the poster knows nothing about the automative industry.
Love this car but had to renew water pump at 50k Common fault hot deal
I have a VRS 245 at the moment on a lease if anyone has any questions. Mine is the standard spec with DSG gearbox. It goes back in 9 months and I’d seriously consider getting another one. The virtual cockpit looks great too

He's clearly of my age demographic. My Dad had a godawful bright orange skoda estelle when I was at school. Proper nail. I got so much grief every time I was dropped off anywhere! Different breed these days.
Do they still give you a free pair of walking boots with a Skoda? Marginally better than a Lada.

And Skoda aren't a bunch of lying scumbags either, that have been caught emissions cheating again.

But oh wait... VW are "sorry". Lessons have been "learnt".

They'll be sorry once they have to rightfully compensate us Brits and everyone else around the world that bought their rubbish cars and were lied and miss sold to. But wait... We're not Americans so means we aren't deemed worthy by the crooks at VW for compensation...

You have to baby them but you can get relatively decent economy out of these cars like mid 30s and even early 40s depending on how much long distance you do. When you consider the sheer power of these things and their capabilities... It ain't half bad.

Rag it and you'll probably get mid 20s at best. Mid 30s driving "normally"...whatever that means for each individual. Some drive quicker naturally than others...me? I like to gain my time through the corners and minimise braking or scrubbing off speed.

Nice looking car, well built as well, there's 10-12 year old models knocking about that still look in great shape...I'd actually pick the latest Skoda Superb over the equivalent Audi model,it's a better looking car.

You do, I've had the option to buy with every car leased through VWFS. You're right about the tax rules but they circumvent that with BCA ( British Car Auctions), the people your car goes back to at end. It's through them the offer of to buy comes from not VWFS.

Yep - extras and leasing don’t match. Best to go with the the best “standard “ specked car. That’s why Seat and Skoda make more sense than VW. Have leased both
Awesome car

The Kia stinger

They've never been very competitive on lease when I've looked but yes they're a good alternative I guess.
