Not bad car but 1.0 isn't very powerful engine what so ever

Not this again. Only a few generations ago the 2ltr 4 cylinder engine produced the same 115bhp.

I have this engine in an Octavia and it's perfectly adequate. Yes it won't tear your face off but I can regularly get 60+ mpg.
10k mile option is less than £4 a month more at £187.74, so must be a better option for some people.

Don't know much about the Scala but for 184 sheets a month, that sounds good to me.

It does 0-60 in under 10 seconds, It's also lighter than a Golf.

And is far from being a suv, it's Skoda's competition for the golf, focus and astra etc.

Yes that's adequate for a medium family hatchback.

That’s due to the turbo. Not an issue for a lease but personally not something I’d want if buying the car.

Virtually every car in production today has a turbo.

That car is less highly strung than my wifes old Audi TT (225bhp) which was 125 bhp per litre.

That car is now 18 years old and had 130k on it.

The Skoda will last, 2 year lease or not.

1.0 litre is the cylinder capacity of the engine, it's not absolutely indicative of the power of the engine. You need to quote the actual power output of the engine. I have a Ford Fiesta 140PS which is 138BHP, that's certainly more power than the average 1 litre 10 -20 years ago.

Nice car that, built like they should be.
Nice deal thanks op 👊
How does this car compare to the Skoda Rapid Spaceback? It looks similar at first glance. Thanks.

You realise both the Skoda and your TT are VWs?

Bit like saying a New Holland tractor is the same as an Alfa Romeo because they are owned by the same Fiat Chrysler group.

Not really. Both are cars.
We took delivery of one of these in March. It’s a lovely little car and very spacious, particularly the boot. Assuming you’re not heading for your closest racetrack, the 115bhp is more than enough! I’d recommend one if you’re in the market.

So my point was reliability and longevity. You kind of proved that with this.

No reason to believe the Skoda won't be as well built as an Audi. Same parts.
