Not everyone's taste and some of the SC range is very much a case of 'style' rather than performance, but these are worth a look at IMO. ...

Good headphones, good price. Hot

fantastic price although i prefer the Ti's i may grab these as a spare

Eww Skullcandy, probably only cost 50p to make anyway.

decent price, although they are horribly over-priced to start with..

Ive heard lots of bad things about Skullcandy headphones, but i went ahead and bought them cos of how cheap they are, i dont mind if they screw up after 4-6 monthes because its more than half the price off the original retail price. +HEAT

try 4 - 6 minutes...

that's how long my pair of lowrider's lasted. just 1 song before the headband spontaneously 'popped' and fired most of itself across the room..

on a more positive note, my G.I.'s are much better put together
they just don't sound particularly good.

skullcandy have a life long guarantee and if they are damaged they give you 50% off your next pair they do on TI's anyway but i am sure it is all of them

but when the first pair didn't even last for one song, why in the hell would you be thinking about buying a second pair ??? :?:

you wouldn't buy a 2nd pair you'd get a replacement:roll:

i saw '50% off' mentioned.
that would mean you would have to part with money to get a new pair. ****.

50% off if damaged yourself by standing on them etc full replacement life time guarantee if its is a fault with the product

this explains what i meant better than i did lol rma.skullcandy.com/

Such a great saving - just bought myself a set - best not break on me!!

i bought 2 pairs of lowriders in canada 2 years ago and still working perfect although one of the earphone holders broke but that was prob my fault sorted it with some gaffa tape!;) andd use them around the house

i guess the pair that broke was just bad luck i dont see why they would offer a life long guarantee for flimsy products sayin mines have went through heavy usage and chucked about a lot

just re-read post about lowriders poppin across room theres no springs in these its all plastic clips so i dunno how they could pop out without pressure being exerted somewhere

Great head phones, i picked mine up for £14.99 from play a while back.

Still a great price, no complaints from me.

Whats the sound quality like ?

i am annoyed aboit tjhaty as i just bought min e for £35 of ov paly they are the hesh stripes. and they keep switching from sound couming out of one headphone to the other every song. getting very annoyihn nw. sorry for annyt bad spellin

send them back for a replacement or direct to skullcandy and they will replace them

Voted hot. I agree the original price is very high but I'm sending the link to my 'cool' friend who just paid full price for these last week!

May be daft question but will these fit straight into an ipod please.

yes they will:thumbsup:

yea 3.5mm jack fits all standard device anything thats not usually comes with an adapter to 3.5mm like my old spv phone

they look gross. voted hot though

If what you care about is looking good with your earbuds/headphones, then get these. cheapest price around. (voted hot)

But if you want sound quality, then get yourself some SoundMAGIC earphones, they arnt such a big brand but can be compared to some of the biggest names (bose, sennhieser etc.)
Plus there prices are really really cheap for what your getting.

Pretty much says it all.

I bought a pair of Skullcandy Hesh headphones last year. They seem well made and the sound quality is good. The only problem is, I don't know if something to do with the size of my head, but they're such a tight fit, they felt like they were crushing my skull.

any good bluetooth stereo earphones out there for iphone 3gs?

skullcandy headphones are ok for general use but the sound isnt upto much for audiophiles out there, im a dj and bought a pair of skullcandy t.i's a few years back and while doin a night in a club they snapped in half and 1 of the cups came right off and that wasnt with any force so be warned they arent so robust, if you really want good quality its best just to pay the price and go for better.

Nice price :-)

Damn this site, purchased, heat added, Nuff said

Good price but they are terrible headphones. Borrowed them from a cousin as I didn't have any spare with me at the time while out shopping. Had to explain that they died on their own while I was out and that I did nothing to them when I got back.

They are just polished turd. Loosen your belt and get Sennheisers instead.

I'm interested in getting good quality head phones. How do these compare?

The sony was shortlisted by gadget show....

Also how much impact does a driver unit have e.g.. 30 vs 50mm

The frequency range for even the cheapest 'phones are usually at least 20 - 20,000 Hz. These must be terrible (borne out by others' comments).

Yes terrible frequency response. As far as response goes you'd be better with something like this for cheaper:

The manufacturer quoted frequency response on headphones is almost always rubbish, even on high end brands like Bose/Sennheiser (sometimes the high end brands don't even quote one at all!). It's a curve i.e. if it's 100-20000Hz they won't be silent at 99Hz and fine at 101Hz. In actual fact, the lower the frequency, the quieter the sound from the headphones, there's no solid cutoff point.

The problem is the cutoff point is subjective, and different manufacturers pick a different point on the curve. So don't ever read into the frequency response, try the headphones instead or read reviews

80 to 100Hz is actually realistic for headphones of this size, even the most expensive ones. 10 or 20Hz is not realistic at all.
