does anyone have a informed opinion?

i have them and i found them OK, but i prefer the sennheiser cx300's for £1 more. The sound is considerably better and you don't get that amplified movement in the ear buds when the wire moves (if that makes sense)

Pick up a big bag of foam pads from a Chinese eBay seller for pennies, or head to Maplin and pay about £1 a pair if that's more convenient...
