these cry out; "look at me, look at me!"

For when "style" is more important to you than sound.

Skullcandy, the heigh of douchebaggery!

These would complete my Crag David Bo Selecta Halloween outfit for this year.

Skull Candy are just branding, their headphones are terrible in build and sound quality.

If you want some cheap headphones that sound good pick up some Audio Technica ATH M20 for around the same price.

some of their stuff gets good reviews for sound quality
would never buy anything myself

Anyone that votes these hot (or gives them good reviews) have either never had a decent pair of cans to compare them with, or simply don't care about sound quality and just like a bit of chavvy bling.

They're just made for young teens who are short of cash. Anyone over the age of 15 caught wearing these should be shot on sight.

Not tried these skullcandy but just curious.

Would these be better:

Basically... how bad are they?

heard mixed reviews about Skullcandy head phones. Currently have Sony MDR 700 one word brilliant.

gotta laugh at all the grey suits posting replies. I guess to some young un for who style is as important if not more than substance then this will be a decent deal. To you lot, wearing your john rocha cardigan (obtained from the debenhams blue cross sale of course) then they would look bloody silly.

unfortunate that such a great rider is associated with such ***** like this

I'm just a working class bloke (who is more likely to shop for clothes in Primark/Peacocks than Debenhams), and music is one of my few pleasures in life.
The fact of the matter is anyone claiming these things are good is either a lier, or just doesn't know what they are talking about.

I'm pretty sure if they were advertised honestly (e.g. "Skullcandy headphones, they look great but sound average at best and tend to break easily!"...), how many 'young uns' do you think would still buy them, regardless of how 'cool' they look?

He's a snowboarder, and I'd bet a years wages the guy himself wouldn't say these things were any good if he wasn't paid to do so.

i'd rather pay 4x (and did) to get something that's way better. My favourite all time pair are the HD-25's which are a great allrounder for listening, dj'ing, even producing (No OTT base boost like some other HP's)
